We missed the playoffs because they had the 5th worst home record in the NHL. The only 4 teams worse were the 4 worst teams in the NHL that all finished 30+ points lower in the standings. If they want to be a playoff team they need to fix their penchant for sucking at home so often.

It's 13 games into the season there are no big games at this point and they don't need any number of points from a weekend series.

UPL needed to cover that puck when he had the chance...OT goal was a direct result of him keeping it in play with tired guys out there.

More like they would beat Carolina because they are on the road and are an elite road team.

Sabres run their record to 31-0-4 when leading after 2.

For whatever reason they cause us all sorts of issues they don't cause other teams.

The reason is the Sabres are terrible at home. Until they figure that out I find it hard to believe they can win enough road games to make up for their home incompetence. With that being said they are an elite road team. Why they can't play at home I have no idea...almost like they get too nervous because they want to make the fans happy and don't pay attention to any details.

And the Flyers are getting their ass whooped 5-0 by the Kings tonight. For whatever reason we just don't matchup well with the Flyers...they crushed us the first 2 times we played last year too..

Sabres get the Big Dub!! Well deserved they outplayed the Leafs most of the game.

The same as we have been...they are a terrible home team far too often but a very good/elite road team. It's really maddening to be honest.

Sabres have a funny way of trying to "earn" fans back in the building for their home games. If by playing like absolute dog crap every other game qualifies they are on the right track.

Mittelstadt is finally reaching his potential...the switch has gone on for him.

Jaire Alexander...that dude is a loud mouthed punk who gets smoked way too much but keeps talking trash and acts like he can do no wrong and then downplays the fact he got smoked that day with the media and keeps talking bad about the other player. Definition of a punk.

Solid pickup in Douglas. In a room full of Dawgs, that dude will fit right in. Immediately becomes CB1. With open arms. All that talk is gamesmanship, once the game is over it's over. No hard feelings. I've been involved in tons of trash talk while playing sports, none of it ever spilled over, it's just part of the game.

Sabres play like this they consistently they will be difficult to beat

No defending the fort today..they kicked Colarado's @ss from start to finish this game. Penalty kill spotless again.

Maybe he was actually John Wick?

He is starting to remind me of Ullmark...constantly hurt for weeks at a time anytime he gets any real playing time.
