Stop making excuses, 2 of these goals should not have been goals. How about not allowing a huge rebound right in front of your own goal on a basic snapshot from way out?

Nope...have given up playing any type of athletic sport...know far too many people that have had serious injuries so I accept those days are over. I am in tremendous shape tho as I work out 4x a week with heavy resistance training, walk 12-20K steps daily and do other things like slam ball workouts, weighted vest hill climbs/hikes and weighted sled pulls.

Well, with the Bills we have seen over a long period of time they really ARE that good. It's been over 2 years since they have lost a game in the regular season by more than 6 points. The last one was against Indianapolis in early November of 2021. That's absurd. Typically it takes the Bills to do a bunch of stupid things, turn the ball over a lot, miss a bunch of easy plays and even then it usually takes a last second effort for the other team to win.

Sabres are one of the faster teams in the league and when they want to they can make life very miserable for teams all over the ice

I guess it wouldn't be surprising...he is still only 24 which is young for a goalie in many ways...still a few years off from his prime even.

He still wasn't that good in most of those games...those were the games they were having to score 5+ to win because he was pretty much allowing 4 a game every game he played. Basically it was more of a stat quirk that he got great goal support than him actually playing that good.

Give me a double heaping of this every game please! Holy hell, how was this the same team we just watched play the Devils? This was fun to watch, back to more like last year running and gunning but still being much better defensively...lots of sticks in lanes, broken up plays on back checks and sticks lifted... And as much as I am afraid to say this, UPL looks like he might be turning a corner in terms of his play...has been mostly solid and by far the best goalie this year, and at times outstanding. Hopefully this isn't just another hot streak tease from him.

Guess the Sabres are trying to steal the "most disappointing team in Buffalo" crown the Bills are wearing right now. Doing a mighty fine job of wresting it away too.

If this is what we get from them playing "defensively" they just need to go back to running ang gunning. At least those games were fun to watch.
