  1. Not really...they have been outplaying them, Coyotes goalie has been standing on his head most of the night.
  2. Sabres just need to keep at it...they are outplaying the Yotes. Eventually one will go in and the floodgates could open.
  3. They are working too hard tonight to have their goalie doing idiotic stuff like that... Other than that he has been playing lights out too...stop handling the puck
  4. Except they regularly come out and play like garbage and like the keystone cops for many minutes often times before the other team scores
  5. This team has the capability to beat anyone in the NHL. They have beaten the NHL points leaders regularly this year. They also are maddeningly inconsistent and seem to think after one of those games where they play well that "they've got it made" and can then come out and do whatever the next game and they'll get the same result. Nope...it's almost like they are trying their damnedest to get results with minimal effort but everytime they try they lose badly. Not sure why they won't accept working hard every night and being prepared to play every night is their new standard. It's like they want to get A's in school but instead of studying for tests and getting some sleep they are playing video games all night an staying up til like 3am. Essentially...these young players haven't learned how to be professionals yet and are seemingly fighting against having to put in that level of work consistently to get there...they keep thinking there is some other shortcut they can use...well, how many times does it have to be shown that there are no shortcuts now?
  6. They just need to keep stacking points, win streak or not. They have 7 out of 10 points now in their last 5 games even tho we may not think so after the Colorado debacle. Just keep stacking points. Win streak would be nice but does winning then tying then winning really make a difference that much? It's still 5 out of 6 points
  7. Was not expecting this from them tonight but what a great finish after going down early in the 3rd...
  8. They make it really hard to care when they don't even care.
  9. Benson plays better positionally without the puck than 90% of the forwards...there is NO WAY he is getting sent down...they need more of what he brings not less.
  10. They have a winning record and are in a playoff spot...can't be that big of a mistake...unlike the Sabres they can actually score goals and do so frequently
  11. At some point the players have to hold themselves and each other accountable. A coach can only do but so much. This is on the players.
  12. Sad part last year it didn't matter who you had in there we were putting up 5
  13. Tuch hit a post/crossbar and Dahlin was like 6 inches from his shot going in. For whatever reason this team makes scoring look way harder than it did last year.
  14. It's like Granato said...they get a few good games under their belt and they think they don't have to work anymore and it's going to come easy...then they get their ass handed to them starting a game and realize they better get it together... My question is how many times does the same thing have to happen to make you realize that's not going to work? It's been at least 10 games this year we have seen it and they are 0-10 in those games. It's not like they are having success with it that makes them think it's OK.
  15. Now Colorado hasn't had a shot all 2nd period... The difference is they scored 3 times with their 12-0 shot advantage and we have scored 0 with ours.
  16. Funnily enough this is the same team we beat 4-0 at home and looked great doing it. No consistency from one game to the next...just like the Bills this year. And the Bandits seem to be following suit...
  17. 8 minutes left and 0 shots on goal... pathetic
  18. This is disgraceful. They look like a Pee Wee team. Why can't this team put more than 2 good games together?
  19. Put the Kid line back together again...maybe that's what will get Cozens going? Peterka has taken a huge step this year...already tied with his goal total last year in 48 fewer games.
  20. These things tend to even out over time. Perhaps he was well above what his "norm" would be in a given season last year and it's balancing out this year?
  21. Well...every year teams fall off after a fast start so thinking all those teams are going to continue at that pace is pretty unrealistic.
