Age and size could help and he needs a stay at home RH defenseman that is 27-32 years old and a good teacher. These guys are all young, Power 22. If you want to trade fine, better get back what a 1st overall player is worth. I have no BLAME on Power. This Team would have destroyed Gretsky. One of the Top scoring defenseman out there. Peterka gets 28 Goals, then he can't score. The issue is the Top guys are inconsistent. Tage is streaky, Tuch is streaky, Cozens is NOT good at scoring, 3rd liner at best, Quinn sucks. Benson tries but he is not a Top Liner yet. Problem is We needed a Vet to Lead these guys, Skinner wasn't it. Too many players came up from Amerks that weren't ready. ready is too very solid years scoring at the Top of your team and a Two way Player. Can't play two ways you don't belong in the NHL Adams did this, we won't get rid of anyone, no path to bring up Amerks ready next year. Sabres are losers anyway. Need to stay as Amerks who win. Every other Team would go for Power and that contract if Sabres offered him up. He has had string of bad games but so has the Team. He is 22 years old and shouldn't have to CARRY the Team. Players out there making $14 mil a game, Power's is not unreasonable for mid to back end of that contract. Leader in playing time with Dahlin too.
