It's getting better. No denying. Yet if Cromrie or UPL were playing last night, we'd probably be singing a different tune. There was plenty of good luck in the first period with Florida missing a dunk shot and 2 posts. Then Anderson played out of his mind the last 2 periods. Lots of giveaways and poor D play at times. Cromrie and UPL cannot overcome that most nights. Who's in net Sunday afternoon ? Can they not tighten up at home for once ?

Anderson let in 1 perfect shot but has been great .

After getting some breaks in the 1st, Anderson was huge in the 2nd. Just robbed them a few times and kept smothering the puck to kill pressure. Poise.

He's 6-3 230 and purposely hit our team Captain...who happens to have a major past with head shots. No real grey area with intent. That was an ill advised messge directed at the entire team.

I'll take it. The same problems almost cost them. Defense and giveaways. I get TB does have twice the talent. It's not going to change until the next pre-season camp with a few new faces and maybe an asst. coach who can help Granato establish a mindset of getting back on D and not panicking in their own end. It's still so refreshing to see players that can actually score. It seems like yesterday that it was a minor miracle the Sabres could score 2 goals in a game and have one player that recorded 20 goals on the season. Still a ways to go.
