So the Jets once dealt for Brett Favre and now Rodgers. It's obvious to all the Jets have a solid plan short and long term when it comes to QB's. How can we possibly question their results.

It's cool to see people enjoy various sports. I'm still primarily hockey and football. I do not follow baseball or basketball (outside of March madness). No soccer. Just the majors for Golf. NASCAR is beyond boring to me. Yet I'm older and when in my youth, I went to drag racing (Niagara Dragstrip) and still follow it. Top Fuel and Funny Car are 330+ mph rockets. It's amazing to me in person and even on TV. I do like lacrosse. Bandits games are great and I like the college outdoor games. When I was stationed in Maryland 40 years back in the military, I saw Maryland play some games in front of big crowds against Johns Hopkins, Syracuse etc. There were zero programs for that in WNY at that time.

We'll see, I guess. Some players are more comfortable playing in the wider rinks in Europe. More of a finesse game. Pay is still good. It's where Victor O belongs. I hold no hard feelings towards someone who may miss his friends and family. Find your happy place. Fewer people do these days.

Nice to see it on TV here in the States (ESPNU). I wish they were on more. It's a great watch, IMO.

VO's game is perfect for the finesse European game with the wider rink. He's too limited here in the NHl. PP only and his -62 career stat. A liability. How much can they actually get for him ?

Goalie..yes...but my thoughts were in line with what many here have been wanting. A couple more rugged D-men who move players out of the crease. Opposing plyers were always allowed to just stand directly in front of our net. That was obvious to this fan. Hammer them. Make them pay.Tell our goalies to watch old films of Billy Smith, who would take his stick and carve up their shins. In addition, the forwards up front would be stationary too often instead of moving.

I did agree with Paul Hamilton a couple months back when he wondered if Krebs could score a lot more if not always put on checking lines. Kills a lot of penalties. Always hustles. I think he could score more if given talented linemates with scoring ability. Regardless, he's a keeper for sure. Stands up to the bullies. Fearless in the corners. Great passer. Need more of his ilk.

Eichel and Reinhart leave and the trade return turns out to be pretty good. Improvement is real. Now get some more help and make a good showing next year with the playoffs being expected. Mindset.

I wish to hear they are promoting Peca and Weber from Rochester to help on the Sabres bench. They gave up 22 goals total in their last 10 games. The kids there are selling out on D. Try and teach that to the Sabres roster.

It's hard for me to give ANY credence to the various BS regarding the Bills draft plans. I bet Beane has a good chuckle at all the kettle heads in the media trying to tell their readers what they "know", which is nothing. Mock drafts are the worst. No harm but I pay them no mind. I have zero idea how he sees the roster right now but I have an idea about the D. Frazier is gone because they wish to scheme differently. They basically brought back the entire D, minus one LB who was vastly overpaid by Chicago. Still, both Safties have been outstanding in their service to us but father time and injuries are catching up with both. That looks like a big need, even with the signing of the Safety from the Rams. They will get another LB but drafted 2 last year. Dodson back as depth. Guys already here are not forgotten by the team..just the fans. OL is never a bad idea. Lots of talk about another WR. They just signed 2. Harty with his blazing speed takes McKenzies slot and Sherfield is actually pretty good. Shakir was just drafted. Diggs and Davis still here. We need a WR this year ? Why ? Sounds more like next year when Davis has his contract expire. We'll see. To read the biased press, we have no WR's beyond Diggs. Yeah...OK. Our biggest need is better playcalling from the coordinators. The HC is now calling the D. Dorsey seemed way too pass happy last year and too depndent on Alllen to do everything, including run. Need far more from the RB's. That includes catching the ball.
