  1. Lindy traumatized me forever with his non-stop juggling every other shift. Now I overreact when it happens, fearing the past.
  2. I prefer him at 8 years 8 Mil total. Damn rich kids ! 😲 I'm guessing his agent would want a bridge deal now and a monster deal later.
  3. He could teach forwards how to get back on D. That was a huge problem. Getting caught pinching deep.
  4. His Covid struggle really messed him up. His donut diet hasn't helped. A shame since he's one of the true community guys locally. Has done a ton for poor kids.
  5. https://cardiaccane.com/2023/06/16/buffalo-move-pesce-cane-dont-get-done/
  6. Agree with the above concerning the draft adding help but I differ in one aspect. In what round the help comes makes little difference to me. I'm not writing the checks. Day 1 and Day 2 players don't work out sometimes. I accept that and don't fall to pieces. It's scheme, individual effort, off-field lifestyle ..whatever. I hope to get 3 players that can contribute out of each draft and in the cap age, a lot of FA Vet help.
  7. Shows up to Rochester looking like a rugged 12 year old needing no development.. Reports say he's not even 5-9 and weighed in the 150's. But the constant chants by someone here to promote him blindly was impressive. I guess when your a bottom 4 team, it's desperation...
  8. If you want Mayo, you eat a Royal sub. Chicken Finger sub gets BC.
  9. An actual NHL player in return. Sabres are way past the bottom 4 thinking of a long term rebuild. Screw future picks. We have ENOUGH of that. I don't care anymore about waiting 3-4 years to wonder if they have an NHL player. Current NHL players.
  10. Those sports shows Fox puts on during the weekday mornings/afternoons are just horrid. Who is their program director ? Any opinions by them concerning our sports teams could be matched by our neighborhood alcoholic at Clancy's Pub.
  11. Being more physical is a must. Watching the playoffs with a friend, he remarked the next time half our roster blocks a shot will be their first time ever. It's youth needing to step forward. Watching teams block 20 or so shots in a game is something this team neeeds to learn in order to get to and win in the post season. Not complaining at all. Just an observation of taking more steps to improve. A couple more tougher guys on the blue line is a priority to me. Sets an example.
  12. I'n retired and have several friends who are also retired. They bring up the WNY/Buffalo weather "it sucks ! " every single time I go out with them and won't let it go. Drone on about it excessively. All have the means to relocate (which I suggest) and they dismiss it immediately. I love our weather from May to October and spend a ton of time out on my deck. I can get through the winters just fine. Even with taxes, I find it very easy to live here financially. Tons for me to do. Traveling throughout the country in my younger days, I wasn't a fan of most other places I visited and was fortunate enough to find solid employment later in my hometown. We are all different and all respect to everyone. I'm trying to figure out if it's just making conversation or are they actually that miserable. They never used to be like that. It's draining. After a couple hours, I have to get up and leave them. Ugh..
  13. Still think it's the playbook. Diggs had other minor so-called blowups which were nothing in the past. Yet signed the extension last year when he could have triggered a move. The difference was Daboll left to coach the Giants and Dorsey broke his cherry as an OC. The 2nd half of last season, his production went way down. Message received.
  14. We are all aware of the stats. I posted " There were games last year where Diggs didn't even get a look until the 2nd half. That was pointed out more than a few times. " . He can catch even more at key moments.
  15. We are all throwing crap at the wall, guessing what is going on. No issues. My toss of crap is the O and the playcalling. Diggs probably has zero issues with McDermott. It's the rookie OC Dorsey, now entering year 2. There were games last year where Diggs didn't even get a look until the 2nd half. That was pointed out more than a few times. Now we draft a flex TE to take over the slot and sign a couple of Vet RB's to help Allen not take too many hits. Diggs may view his looks as being shorted in the plan...and if so, I tend to agree with him. He's open A LOT. A HOF talent with those hands isn't a decoy. He's primary. Especially with the concerns at WR #2 and Davis having inconsistent hands last year. Feed him until his hands bleed. Guys like him are rare.
  16. Was here yesterday for his medical.
  17. Oh joy...Now to avoid the Bills message boards. Outrage will be the theme.
  18. I could see it was losing steam. Major league sports teams and large college programs suddenly had no regular coverage with writers leaving. I cut bait a few months back.
  19. Out of nowhere, Adin Hill is about to make some serious $ this summer.
  20. That 72 foot putt to win it was an amazing sports moment for those fans. You never see a golf crowd explode with joy like that. The Canadians can strike that little round ball these days. Taylor became the 4th Canuck to win on the PGA tour this year.
  21. I think Ullmark is OK to good with a great regular season team in front of him. The team went flat in the playoffs and he didn't play well at all. Yanked. Sort of exposed. He can enjoy his regular season awards. No one can sell me on how "great" he is.
  22. Been there for 2 sessions each of the last 2 years. Looks to be far shorter this year. Only an hour to view them. Might pass and just get the views from the press that covers them. Place is an absolue icebox, sitting so close. It did give me a positive outlook on Levi. They had these 2 on zero drills . Levi made great saves and instantly reacted to any rebounds. Portillo was painfully slow with delayed reactions, despite being a much bigger body. He didn't impress me at all. Kids have speed but lack NHL bodies. Need to fill out and refine their game. The pipeline is promising.
  23. He was in early on Pride week. :-) RIP. By all accounts, he was the most decent of people.
  24. Draft and roster adjustments (possible trades) first. Then think of future contracts, once camp begins. Zero urgency now.
