Going back 40 years, I'm in the Navy in the D.C area (Maryland Andrews AFB) and share a house with 3 guys. Ice storm (minor it turns out) coming but local weather hypes it to death. Roommate calls and says he'll hit the store for supplies. Get home in time to find out he bought 5 cases of beer, pretzels and beef jerky. His idea of a survival kit. 👍

LA Mayor Karen Bass made major cuts to the Fire dept. She was speechless when asked about it by reporters. She left the country during the crisis to attend a ceremony in Ghana for a new President. Hydrants were mostly empty. What a piece of work.

The only thing they're seemingly in the hunt for is bonus $. Ex. Power gets 100K if he can clear someone out of the crease. Muel gets 100K if he plays 10 games in a row.

North of Buffalo, I have seen it snow 3 times, maybe 4 this winter. Never more than 2 inches. Snow blower hasn't been used yet. I expect to pay for that statement soon but rarely can I say it's snowed a total of 3-4 inches for the winter season entering the 2nd week of January. The rest of the country is having things far worse.

Power stands in his own crease and watches opposing players screen and score on his goalie. Next to no interest in physical play. Poor on Defense most games. A guy with his size ? That is absolutely maddening.

41 games in and they've won only 11 in regulation. Speaks for itself. Can't spin it.

Cabbage and brussel sprouts are horrid. Then again, I love liver and onions with hot sauce. Eat 1-2 cans of Progresso split pea with ham soup every week during cool weather. They are stacked in the pantry.
