Heck of an outburst by Dallas. Down 2-0 then 3 goals in 3 1/2 minutes. Oilers in trouble.

Intriguing matchups
-
I hope it's a sign. They need to bury their past seasons here. Power has a good week , then a horrid flub in front of his own net near the end, up by one. Saw that too much and it needs to go away. Still don't trust him completely. Brain cramps.

Trades That's the avenue to improvement. Sabres will be players last choice in FA, unless no one else offers.

Everyone is " right " in May. " Prove Me Wrong " is my all-time favorite response...which pretty much sinks anything a poster says. Cook, Kincaid and Shakir touched the ball the most during the late season 6 game winning streak. They are still here. It's all about Brady and his play calling in his first full season and his first camp to install his O. With Davis here at RB, I see more touches by the RB's, run and catch. Just my guess. If Kincaid is on the field, then only 2 WR's will be out there. One may be Shakir. The other 10 on the roster now will fight to be the other one. The 2nd half of the season, Diggs averaged 4 catches 43 yards a game. Davis had a couple catches and was invisible many games. Phased out and cap savings does come into play but a big dropoff ? We'll see. My bigger concern is a pass rush and safety play on the D side. Unknown until we see it.

Goal Scoring. How Will Sabres Increase Number Of Goals Scored?

The Power Play sank into quicksand. That and the inability to win enough key faceoffs. There's your goal shortage. -
Something was missing. Success.. Now Adams is basically forced to do something with this roster. No player or prospect should be off limits for movement to improve this lineup. Many of our top guys had down years after they got paid. PP stunk. Faceoff % not good. Easily intimidated by the opposition. Soft and floating many games. A lot is being dumped on Lindy but he needs some players in order to change things.

Lots of physical play . Current Sabres watching are horrified.
-
Reason I think RB will have more touches.. This guy. Beane already talked about how much he likes him. He was my favorite RB coming out.
-
How many Prospects actually have a shot to make the team over the next couple of years ? Asking. With the Lindy hire, wouldn't we expect more veteran additions and using prospects in trades ? Who is actually untouchable ?

Any ideas for the Amerks next head coach?

Who's the Buffalo Jr. Sabres coach ? -
One thing that hasn't been discussed. With Cook and Davis, the play calling will see more touches for the RB's. Run and catch.. OC Brady showed that late last year. I hope that means Allen sees less carries and exposing himself to bad hits. So I believe this so-called concern at WR is a bit overblown. Throw in Kincaid getting far more opportunities late last year as a rookie.
-
A lot of WR's going to camp. Many will be cut. At least it will be interesting. He's no lock if he drops balls. Was better in the 2nd half of the year. We'll see.
-
He could fight Hasek in an Octagon outside the arena before the opener . Good idea.

Corrected

Whatever. Sabres need a change in players to chart a new course. AKA..winning enough games to make the post-season.
-
In addition to 3-4 more players with grit. Leadership is horribly lacking.

McDavid-Draisaitl Edmonton era seems to only go so far. Up against the wall again.
