No way Dahlin should be offered a contract anywhere close to Heiskenan. I don't care how much future potential is there, how many UFA years he is giving up, blah blah blah. I'm not even sure he is worthy of a 6mil cap hit over a long term contract.

I am very nervous that KA(despite having Karmanos to assist), is going through a deer in the headlights period, and because of that, ends up not making moves that need to be made, or panics, and makes bad moves. I hope I'm wrong.

Then how about useless or easily replaceable? Maybe crapping was a poor choice of words, but there are posters who don’t seem to care if he stays or goes.

Not sure why people are crapping all over Borgen. He brings a physical element to the blueline(which is needed...especially if Risto is gone), looks like an okay skater...a decent 2nd pair/3rd pair tweener. ...and don't tell me his skill set is easily found. If so, why do the Sabres have so little toughness on the blueline.

I know but if he is disgruntled and wants out, what is the alternative. If you hold on him and showcase him the first month of the season, who has room in season for a $10 mil cap hit? Also, what if he becomes a negative force in the locker room? Make the best deal you can this summer and move on. Futures, conditional picks, roster players, short term cap dumps...have to hope that Adams and Karmanos can sort through the offers, and take the one that they believe will work out the best. 🤞
