Vegas is in Buffalo on 3/10. I wonder if John will be healthy by then?

Considering Krebs had never hit the 20 goal mark in juniors, I am guessing he is more of a playmaking center? Hopefully meshes well with some of the young prospects on the wing that are on the way.

I’m assuming next season they will be back to Cup contender and pick ends up 25 or lower. My best case scenario, injury riddled Vegas sneaks into the playoffs this season, gets run in the 1st round, and we end up with a pick between 17-20.

Not me. I am still expecting a return that will be underwhelming. They are trying to flush a broken john from the organization, but that is next to impossible.

You will get no disagreement for me. In fact, I was jumping for joy when the Sabres gave him a 3 year bridge deal instead of 8x8 or something similar. If there is not significant improvement by this time next year, I wouldn’t even be bothered if they traded him. I’m not sure at this point if he should be considered a core piece.
