I’d be surprised. Tarasenko has been hurt more often than not for multiple seasons now. I wonder if he can even survive the remainder of the regular season and playoffs. Disclaimer…he was fairly healthy last season.

We have friends who have a daughter who frequents Chippewa and the other downtown hotspots. Instead of Uber or naming a designated driver within the group, one of the girls parents will drive them down there, and then go back and pick them up when done…12, 1 or 2 in the morning.

One home game(WARNING…1230 Saturday afternoon start), then off to the WC for a 3 game trip, home for a game against the Leafs, and then down to Florida for a two game swing.
-
I guess let’s wait and see what they do in terms of the roster in the offseason.

Social Security and Pensions need bigger cost of living adjustments in light of what is going on. Rising costs of everything no matter what you are buying.

Anyone have friends or family who are helicopter parents(google it, if you don’t know what it means). I have a sibling with two kids in the 22-24 range, and both parents watch over them like they are 10. No surprise, they both still live at home while in school. Don’t get me wrong, you could have parents out there who don’t give a damn about their kids, but this is the other extreme. Know anyone like this??

Not sure how you can say that without knowing how high the Sabres will spend against the cap. If that stops them from acquiring a 3rd pairing dman who is an upgrade from Bryson or Clague, then yes, that Skinner overpay is a problem.
-
Are the Sabres going to start spending to the cap starting next season? If not, then yeah, that extra $2 mil they are overpaying Skinner, could have been more wisely spent.
-
Skinner never was nor will he ever be a 9 mil hockey player. Yes, he has made the number look better based on his play this year, but still a ridiculous contract that Botts and Pegula agreed to….and just because the cap goes up as the years go by, it doesn’t make it any better. He is overpaid by at least 2 mil per year.

Who’s Next to Re-sign and how long and for how much?

I expect Krebs to take over the 3C role next season. Therefore Jost and Girgs are both on the 4th line. Neither of them warrant 3 year deals. They both get 2 year 4 mil offers(2 mil cap hit). If they don’t accept, see ya. -
Well, my STH days have been done for several years now, but I look forward to seeing how this works out for them.
-
Probably not happening, but anyone think the Sabres would drop STH prices in the off-season in order to build their base back up? …and before anyone suggests that the STH price is reasonable compared to other teams, it is all about supply and demand. Knock the price down, build the base up, and by then the team will be playoff caliber, and fans more likely to stomach the increase.

The semifinals and finals are a week apart? I’m sure it has always been that way, but seems odd to me.

Cozens Contract Extension Announced, 7 years 7.1 Million AAV

Maybe just pull back on the reins a little. How about make the playoffs for the first time in over a decade, and (gasp) maybe even win a playoff round or two before crowning Adams. -

Good deal. 👍🏻 I wonder if 3 years down the road, an extension for Tuch will come from money currently paid to Skinner. -
No. I quoted you… “he wasn’t very good”.
-
Amazing how a guy who “wasn’t very good” could hang around the NHL for 10+ years.

These two paragraphs from the article sum it all up. 😞 Today, my mom is still in recovery and although it is the same answer every time someone asks me, it is true, she is improving every day. She is dealing with significant expressive aphasia and significant memory issues. She can read, write, and understand pretty well, but she has trouble finding the words to respond. It is hard to deal with and it takes a lot of patience to communicate with her, but I thank God every day that we can still communicate with her at all. The doctors continue to be blown away by her recovery, considering where she started, and her determination is the driving force of that. My mom is the president and owner of both the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills. She loved to work. She did everything and our family constantly told her how she needs to slow down and take time for herself. She was the woman behind my dad’s success and my dad would happily admit that. She jumped into this journey with him and learned many lessons along the way, breaking a lot of barriers. She was the shift in culture, positivity, and the heartbeat of many of the employees. She gave everyone so much of her time and effort. She lived it and loved it, and it was felt by everyone she met. Now we come to the realization that all of that is most likely gone. That she won’t be able to be that person anymore.

I modified my post. As a document as such becomes part of the sale contract, I am guessing it would allow them to cancel the sale after closing when problems are discovered, and recoup all funds involved. Now how long that would take and legal fees incurred, I am not that much of an expert to know.
-
Well still makes no sense that the ownership wouldn’t have final say, so I will just move on from this discussion.

When we sold my parents house a couple of years ago, we had to sign a form with our realtor stating basically that there are no known major issues(I’m paraphrasing), that we are not disclosing. I assumed this was a binding document that became part of any sale contract. Doesn’t that stop this kind of BS.

Not saying he is, but are you trying to tell me that some party outside of PSE is forcing a design on them, that they don’t care for?
