It is really a shame that Dudley left in the prime of his career at the age of 26(after 74-75 season) to go to the WHA. I don't remember much about the circumstances other than $$$. He was not the same player when he returned in 1979.

I understand, and am all in favor of the Sabres keeping him around for this stint.

I don’t obsess with this burning a year of the ELC. At this point, I would prefer Savoie stays put and once 100%, does a conditioning stint in Rochester, gets in some games with the big club, off to the WJC in December, and then back here. Benson unless he is completely overwhelmed in his 9 game stint, also stays.

Stating the obvious, but their diet soda’s obviously don’t use pure cane sugar.

TBH before going into Pizza Plant a few years back, I had never heard of Johnny Ryan pop. At some point afterwards, I found out it was made locally.

The Tampa Rays and their fans dressed as empty seats go down without a whimper. I know the stadium needs to be in Tampa and not St Pete, but that is embarrassing.

I disagree. Who is filling that void for the other 30 games? AHL talent Spillman, Bryson & Clague? …and EJ’s rest days don’t even factor in injuries to any of the other top 6, which then puts 2 of the 3 listed above into your lineup.

20-21 4 GP 21-22 77 GP 22-23 63 GP 6 other times in his career, he has missed 20+ games in a season. He may be fine, but if I was a betting man, I’d bet he misses at least 25 games to injury.
