People are making Scott out to be something way more than the enforcer he is. He will be 31 in the fall, and his skating is awful. He is not going to be a 3rd line shutdown player nor is he good in his own end from a defensive perspective. A 4th line goon who is supposedly a funny guy in the locker room. Seems like he is nothing more than an Andrew Peters(another supposedly funny guy) except for being a better fighter.

2 days off between home games? Why not play right into July!

I have a feeling if Vanek is traded, Stafford is staying in 13-14. Not that Stafford is a long term answer, but you have to have some players in your top 6... Hodgson Ennis and.....

IMO Darcy accomodates Pegs whenever he decides to play fantasy hockey with the Sabres, and wants to "discuss" hockey operations with DR. That along with the "suffering rebuild" should keep DR safe for at least 3 years...maybe more. 100% WEASEL, and founding member of the Secret Society of Weasels.

That's what I meant. I would bet the majority of those teams woudl be on Miller's "you've got to be kidding me" list.

Ask yourself how many of these teams would be on Miller's "approved list"(I am assuming he has a limited move clause in his contract).

The reason why I am asking is that if both want out no matter what the offer, the sabres can push hard to trade them on draft weekend.

Can the Sabrea negotiate with Vanek & Miller prior to July 5th or whatever day it is, just no contract signings?

Just saw that the Canucks have lost 10 of their last 11 playoff games. WOW! Now that is a fanbase that must be ready to explode on the entire organization.

I guess it all depends on how well he has managed his money. I would think Connolly would get at least $1mil per season even in the leagues in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, or Finland, but I could be way off.

After dicking around with Verizon for over a week, they finally have my landline working again(was a problem with the wire coming out of the ground as it goes into the basement(probably because I hit it with the weedwacker one too many times :ph34r: ). They suck as a utility company, and now is as good a time as any to cancel service, and save myself the 50+ dollars a month.

He did absolutely nothing in the AHL this season except for collecting his 4.75mil NHL salary. Where does he go next? IMO he could make a very nice living over in Europe for the next 5-7 years(where his game would probably translate nicely), but I get the feeling he just packs it in.

Game 4 will be must see TV. I hate the Canadiens, and I despise their fans!
