I never ever want to go down the tank road again. I'm just saying they are going nowhere this year, and all it took was a couple of weeks of play to figure that out....but that won't stop the powers that be, to try and make excuses for another dismal season.

Do they expect me to believe that they only recommended a single candidate in each of those scenarios. The Pegula's have screwed this up over and over again by hiring inexperienced people(outside of Bylsma), and Adams is proof that they are going in the wrong direction in terms of less experience, not MORE! Kim & Company can take their flat org structure and stick it where the sun don't shine. a$$holes continue to screw this up beyond belief.

Whenever I think about the Pegula era, I think about how half the teams make the playoffs each year, and wonder how the heck have they missed the playoffs the last 10 years. You would think luck enough would allow you to make it once in 10 years.

I don’t know if it was here or somewhere else where I read that Dahlin never played defense before he was ~15. If that is true, how could he have been predicted to be the best defenseman drafted since Potvin? Based on only playing the position for 3 years or so? I know I’m being critical of him, but my expectations drop lower every time I watch him. From thinking he will be a perennial Norris candidate and down the road HoF’er, to really good all-star, to good top pairing damn, to... I don’t have a clue where his career is going...kind of like him skating from a dead stop...moving, but not going anywhere fast.

Only those inside the locker room know the answer for sure. We can do nothing more than speculate as to why the franchise is so screwed up. Maybe the media should ask Jack your question?
