I would like to keep Borgen, but let’s see how the offseason plays out leading up to the expansion draft. One thing...before you say a player like Borgen is “very replaceable”, just keep in mind that on this years blueline we have Irwin, Davidson and Miller.

Does Fitzgerald have a future as a 5-6-7 blueliner at the NHL level? I see he will turn 25 during the 21-22 season Is this a temporary move due to injuries? Seems like an odd thing to do to an 18 year old in his first pro season.

I hope Jack can get back to 100% and continue his upward career progression come the fall.

Good news on the hiring of Karmanos, but sad that our inexperienced rookie GM had to try and find his way by himself for almost a full calendar year.

If this was the case, I’d think that some of the hirings would be leaked out somehow. We will find out over the next month or so.

While RK was a huge disaster, let’s see what happens now that the Sabres schedule is back to playing the cream of the crop in the division.

We will see what hires take place in the off-season. I’m not sure how we will determine whether the new hires are any better than the old hires except to see how future seasons play out, and if the prospect pool improves.

In fairness to the team, you serve an underage player a couple of beverages at a team run event, and he gets into an accident on the way home, someone would be in a lot of hot water.

I’m beating a dead horse here, and I don’t know if Terry or Botts is more to blame, but there is no freakin’ way that they had to give Skinner...term AND a boatload of money AND A full no move clause. Maybe concede one of these three contract items, but all three of them? It is going to hurt the team salary structure for the duration. Stupid, dumb craziness.

Reider, Sheehan, Okposo & Eakin have no long term future with the team. Rotate two of them out each game and see what Caggiula and Bjork have to offer with a 20 game tryout.
