The Kesselring move may be easier if one of the goalies just takes over the net and makes the others expendable.
For now, I don't think you can send Östlund down. Norris just returned and if he goes back out again on the trip... we're probably starting Jordan Greenway as top line center again 🤢. Östlund gives some flexibility to the lineup that they need imo.
It's hard not to get excited for this team with him present. With his defensive play and offensive skill/finishing ability... he really ties up the lineup nicely. I'm excited for what could be, but also just waiting for the other shoe to drop with another injury.
melvin novotny as well. maybe the sabres should be cashing those 2nd-6th round picks in for more 7th round choices 😂
edit: it appears their other (third) 7th round pick is also killing it in the MHL. Yevgenvy prokhorov. sporting a ~.950 save percentage and maybe being moved up to the khl?
ESPN's latest power rankings puts the pats at #2 and bills at #10. Feels valid given how the teams have performed thus far in the regular season. In a must-win or playoff game though, if I was a betting man, I would still take the Bills to win it.
I was thinking the same thing. And then I wondered if criticism is half the reason he picked up his play. Either way, it's great and I hope it's sustainable
