  1. fukk these assclowns. how's that for positive vibes, it's the best I've got.
  2. do you really think the players care/take pride in wearing an A? taking it away does nothing
  3. Time to watch a real team...the Bills. Truth is Pegula has no clue what's he's doing owning teams. He lucked into Beane and McDermott, after stupidly retaining Whaley/That sex offender whom I can't remember his name and hiring Rex Ryan.
  4. tear it down. I know it's early in the season, but, if it's not obvious after 3+ seasons of basically the same core, I don't know what is obvious. and this should not be done by Kevin Adams
  5. our best D this year is Joker, and it isn't close
  6. full disclosure, we got Kulich in the reinhart deal too
  7. Small sample size but your namesake is playing like a #7 d not a captain. small sample size but Dahlin is on pace for 82GP, 0 G, 16 A, -16 +/-
  8. 5 penalties against 1 for - what a goddam joke. I'm still trying to figure out what the penalty to Benson was for? To give Malkin a shot at his 500th??
  9. Alpert is in charge of the PP and I use charge lightly
  10. If Lindy has any ballz, tomorrow he benches Cozens and puts Kulich back in the lineup. Unless Kulich is dinged up, he shouldn't have been sitting anyway. He also sits Clift and puts Gilbert in the lineup, or Bryson, don't give a fukk which one
  11. Here's your sabres fun stat for the day: Through 5 games, combined stats for Dahlin/Quinn/Benson/cozens 19 GPs, 0 goals, 4 assists, -12 Fun stat #2; our #1 goalie, 3 GP's, 3 losses, 3.67 GAA, .872 SAV% - here's an idea, Levi wins, Levi plays the next game???? I know....small sample size.....but Fun times
  12. no clue why Saros signed for so little?? I know he loves TN but he signed for around 70% of his worth
  13. Interesting take. She'll be finishing up her residency this year and be helping people as a doctor for 30+ years probably. Instead, you think she should quit since her husband has made $50m and will retire in a couple of years? Interesting, are we living in the 1950's?
  14. Greenway belongs on the trade block. There's no room for Krebs and possibly no role for Greenway any longer, especially if the trade for another forward.
  15. Yep, plus it would look really hypocritical to trade for a player who had the same experimental spinal surgery you held jack over the coals over. Of course, the Sabres do a lot of stupid things, so nothing would surprise me with them
  16. $5m/yr coming off the same surgery Eichel had that the Sabres wouldn't approve. Farabee went 26 games without scoring when he came back from the surgery. I don't see the Sabres trading for him. Go trade for a more of a sure thing instead of a maybe
  17. When going to UB, we' go to a restaurant on Bailey on Tuesdays: $5 for a pizza and a pitcher of beer. can't remember the restaurant and neither were great but, $5 for a college student (actually $2.50 if eating with the gf) was great
  18. Extremely good analysis - well thought out
  19. At 18, maybe Helenius grows an inch or two? at 190 pounds now, he'll definitely be over 200 shortly. He's got massive arms already, very unlike most 18 years, which explains why he's held up extremely well vs men. He wasn't really on my radar pre-draft, but, I honestly think they would have taken him at 11 if they kept that pick. The 2 d would have been tempting, but a thick, tough center was more of a need.
  20. pathetic AAV
  21. Obviously 2 different positions. I like Buium a lot, wish he was a bit bigger
  22. I'm on board with him, which he was a little bigger. Guess, if he was bigger he's go earlier.......
  23. I agree he has been overly cautious and the UFA's he's signed didn't make any sense. I would think he'd have to be aggressive this offseason, because (a) he's talked of being so, unlike ever before and (b) he job likely rests on the Sabres making the playoffs
  24. Yep - agree 100% here, and if we use pick #11, there's probably a 90% chance he's still there. He's one of the most pro-ready prospects (even if he's still 1-2 years away) and the Sabres desperately need players like him. They got one last year in Benson, though, Benson a different type of pest.
  25. Agreed- you'd be hard pressed to find another 18 year whos every killed penalties in the NHL. The kid may never be a Point per game player (although he may be) but his intangibles are off the charts
