  1. This game has shades of 51-3 over the Raiders all over it.
  2. As @Norcal said upthread, "well eat that *****."
  3. I'm speechless; just so happy for the players and fans. We waited a long time for moments like these.
  4. One of Gene Hackman's finest roles; and he's had some great ones.
  5. Sweet ball from JA to Sanders. They're using every weapon. They even de-mothballed Reggie Gilliam.
  6. What a dominating half of team ball. Let's steamroll the Hoodie into oblivion!
  7. This is actually reminiscent of our effort against the Bolts two games ago. In both games, we were simply overwhelmed by talent and team speed. Also, we were grossly outworked. Being outworked is the most worrisome thing IMHO.
  8. Sigh. Dahlin had a disastrous couple of minutes there.
  9. Now THAT is the reaction I want to see to a swat at our goaltender. Fantastic.
  10. What an interception by Hyde. Where did he even come from?
  11. What a pass by Dahlin to Hayden. I wish that he could have cashed that in.
  12. What a throw and catch! Touchdown.
  13. Run, Forrest, run!
  14. Poor VO. He can't catch a break this season.
  15. I think that I'm going to have to make some roadies to Rochester, soon. These games look like a blast.
  16. We're pitiful down low defensively thus far. It's far too easy for them.
  17. If it's true that we're a year behind the Red Wings, I wouldn't mind the Sabres looking like that next season.
  18. I would have liked to take a longer look at him up here. One game? C'mon, man.
  19. C'mon, Sabres. Get it back. Bertuzzi playing as advertised thus far.
  20. The injury against the Ducks was a re-injury from the slash on opening night? I wasn't aware of that. In that case, my concerns were much ado about nothing. I miss his tenacity in the line-up.
  21. I think that the key to this game will be the ground games of both teams. If we can establish ours early and often and bend, but not break against theirs, I think we will move on to the Divisional round.
  22. This is the first thing that ran through my mind upon seeing the thread title. If it means a simple jumbling of job titles near the top, then no problem. I think that I've always held onto the fear of losing the Sabres to another city since the bankruptcy following the Rigas debacle. The private equity angle has only served to exacerbate this within me.
  23. I hope that they can carry over any momentum from Thursday into tonight: Sabres 5 Dead Octopuses 4 O/T (Hiney nets two, Tuch and Okie with one each, and Skinner with the winner in overtime.)
  24. I had such high hopes for Mitts, but it appears that, physically, he might not be up to the rigors of the NHL. Hopefully, his injuries thus far are just poor fortune and nothing more. I like what he brings to the Sabres and hope that I'm wrong about him.
