Please, tip the help. 😉

The Flyers might.

Mother Nature is just making room for the next "generational" snowstorm.

I hope that we can keep flying under the radar as long as possible. They can only blast the puck at the netminder in front of them. If it helps us stack-up wins, then I hope this trend continues.

Linus played lights-out in the first period at the Devils tonight. He had help from the crossbar, but was stellar. Lian McHugh said that Linus is on pace for 47 wins this season.

It's getting real.

I noticed this with the issue of reports as to whether National Guard MPs and outside policing agencies would be ticketing those who violated the driving ban in the City of Buffalo. Mayor Brown said no and that any reports did not come from his office. County Executive Poloncarz said no and that reports began with a subordinate within his office. Why would you publicly divulge that there would be no ticketing? This would only encourage individuals to violate the ban, no?

If it helps, there is an Erie County Tops open on Broadway in the Town of Alden. It was easily the busiest we've ever seen that store, so we opted for Save A Lot further down the street. The roads are fine in Elma and points east, thus far. Broadway is down to the pavement. It's a relief to simply leave the house for the first time since Thursday evening. We are blessed to have not had it that bad for the duration of the blizzard. We never lost power or any trees and just have some branches down. After having just shy of 70" of snow last month, we can deal with the 3-4' that we received now. I hope that the rest of you are safe and healthy.

I've always wondered how much fresh snow fell in that storm versus how much of it was previously fallen snow from the surface of Lake Erie that was merely wind-distributed across the area.

So, Mrs. Dreams said that an SUV was stuck in front of our house about an hour ago. She then exclaimed that Santa just got out of it. Every year, the neighbors a couple of houses down hire Santa for their kids. This guy put on his four-ways and, in this blinding snow, calmly walked down the middle of our street to their house. I hope that he was tipped well.

I'm very sorry for your loss. You're in my prayers.
