Despite the loss, we played much better tonight than the last two starts. Hellebuyck was the difference. If we continue to play with this purpose and drive, the wins will come. In the two prior games, we looked listless and uninterested for good stretches. That wasn't the case tonight. Onto Nashville...

We recovered somewhat from the first 7 or 8 minutes. I liked what I saw for the rest of the period. I hope that we can build on it.

A friend and I were sitting in the reds at the Aud on one of the end scoreboards. It was 1985 or 86. A lady in the row behind us was shouting out Philip-this and Philip-that, but I never made the connection. At one point in the game, my friend yelled at Housley to hit one of the opposing players with his purse. That lady tore into us. It was Phil's mom.

One.....two-hoo-ooo...threeEEEeee....crunch!

After years of Dahlin being targeted and not having the muscle mass or experience to respond, I love that he's dishing it out and I hope that he continues to do so. He's setting the example for the rest of the team to follow.
