I'm sure this 5 game losing streak is just a bump in the road

UPL lunges waaaay out of position again leaving the net wide open. Fortunately the pass went astray. He's regressed a bunch this season.

And sadly because of how bad they've bungled the roster, his "development" has been pissed away playing on an island of misfit toys. He needed a year or two in the AHL to develop his skill. Instead, he's wasted 2 years being a tiny 4th line grinder.

They'll lose this game 8-5.

They are, quite literally, the polar opposite of the Sabres. Draft well. Develop well. Aggressively move to improve their weaknesses. Stability. Well constructed roster. It's like they're playing a different sport than us.

There's enough individual talent here to have nights like this sometimes, but the roster cohesion is not there, so most games they're not very good.

Ah, Hedman's out. I missed that. That probably explains some of this. That and Vasilevskiy having one of the worst nights of his career.

This team, man. You really never know which version is gonna show up. On paper, the Lightning should absolutely rag doll us. Vasilevskiy gets the Bronx cheer lol
