Out hit 14-5 that period. Would like to see that corrected. Otherwise, solid.

They were fantastic against Ottawa, but I have no idea if they can carry over that level of play. If they do, they have a very good shot of grabbing a win unless Igor goalies them. Problem is, how many times over the past couple/few years have the Sabres looked like a legitimately good hockey team one game to get everyone's hopes up then come out and laid a total egg the next? Hopefully the other night was them figuring out, but I need to see that level of play/effort for a few games before I get sucked in. Their track record is awful.

We know Lindy is willing to sit players now when needed, I'd like to see him shelf Quinn for a couple of games. He provides nothing right now. We've seen flashes of a good offensive player with him, so we know it's in there, but he does not look dialed in at all. A couple of games in the cooler might help him get back on track, and that would be big.

That's the best, most complete game I've seen out of them in a long time. More of this, plz.

I've been pretty steadfast that I feel this is a playoff team this year; I no longer feel that way. This is the same old Sabres. Adams has not done good enough job, full stop. This is likely to be a very tight race for the playoffs in this conference, and that makes the games you lose in October/November hurt that much more. You cannot lose a bunch of games to the CBJ, Pens, Islanders, and Wings. 3/4 of those (if not all 4) won't be in the playoffs. The clock should be ticking on Adams's tenure. If they're out of the playoffs, he has to go.

Back-to-back losses to a bad Islanders team and a mediocre Red Wings team. These are the kinds of losses you're going to look back on when you're yet again on the outside looking in at the playoffs and shake your head. Same old Sabres.

Two word review for that period: ***** sandwich

I don't know why I continue to do this to myself with this garbage franchise.

This is the kind of game the Sabres usually dominate...right after a disappointing loss. 5-2 Sabres.
