I'm just following passively online, but just from viewing that and reading here, it sounds like absolute domination...which is unsurprising. And our speed bump GM will continue to do nothing as his team circles the drain leaving skid marks all over the bowl.

I never understood the animosity towards Jack. Or any former Sabres, really. This is a criminally incompetent organization, I cannot blame anyone for wanting to get out.

My girls asked if we could watch "Wicked" tonight, so we purchased it on Amazon Prime Video and it's currently playing here in the family room. Normally I'd head down to the basement fam room and put on the Sabres game. Tonight I decided I'd read instead. It appears I made the right choice. These guys suck out loud.

This was one of the most brain dead hockey plays I've ever seen and completely emblematic of the terminal issues with this team. And he wears a letter.

Most Sabres hire ever.

This team is the living example of the whole being less than the sum of its parts. We have skilled players, but the roster was assembled with no consideration given to how these individual pieces fit as a functional unit. Adams is criminally incompetent as an NHL GM. This is what nepotism hires breed.

I won't argue against Meatballs' flaws, in fact I agree. But that doesn't change the fact largely the same team ended with 91 pts two years ago, 84 last, and are now on pace to finish with 69 this season. Lindy isn't the right coach for this team. Never was. It was a nostalgia hire and is blowing up in their face.

Nah, Lindy isn't solely to blame. But when you replace one coach with another (and leave the roster largely unchanged), the goal is to be better under the new coach. We are objectively worse right jow than under Meatballs...by a decent margin. I'm not saying they should have kept Meatballs by any stretch, he took them as far as he could; but the coaching "search" last summer was a sham.

This season is exactly the type of year that causes serious hockey organizations to do a hard reset with heads on pikes. The Sabres aren't a serious hockey organization, though.

Oh, there are galactical issues with this roster, but how is basically the same team worse under Lindy than Meatballs?

Pretty much the same team/players were better under Meatballs. They still sucked, but they've gotten worse. I love Lindy, but let's be objective...he isn't working. Another Adams blunder.

Everything we were told Lindy would bring to this team has failed to materialize. Just sayin'.

Seriously, gut the management of this team at every level. Top to bottom failure this year. Again.

I hate this team so much. Fire everyone. Salt the earth.
