  1. Breakaway chances with this team are painful.
  2. Yeah…that feels like something of an anomaly. 😆
  3. Fair, they’ve certainly improved upon a couple of years ago and part of it might be that I’ve watched a lot of Edmonton games this year and…well…it’s like they’re playing a different sport. But, be it speed, or poor puck handling, they just don’t seem to get many of those opportunities. It seemed like the entire 3rd period was watching the puck get pushed down into the Rangers zone then one of our guys cough it up or they just never gained possession. It’s brutal. Thank you! Glad I found the place. Not many people to talk hockey with in corn country. 😆
  4. It was a great game. But 0.4 seconds…brutal LOL
  5. Last sentence is the root cause here. This is one of the least talented rosters in the league (probably bottom 3) and that’s with Mitts and VO. They’ve managed to win some games because they play hard, are scrappy and have probably snuck up on a couple of teams. Watching this team trying to set up anything on offense is painful. And how many breakaway opportunities have we had this season? Very few because they are slllllooooooowwwwww and any breakaways get snuffed out before they get anywhere near the net. I just hope they don’t rush the kids in Rochester. Let them cook down there and maybe call them up sometime in the last month. Hopefully guys like Peterka, Quinn and Krebs (not to mention Tuch) inject some needed speed and offensive skill.
  6. As soon as that puck kicked out I blurted out “you gotta be ***** kidding me.” Then I just laughed.
  7. We just have no guys right now, outside of Tage and Dahlin with any offensive/puck handling skills.
  8. What have we spent...like 3 minutes in their zone?
  9. Watching these guys try to generate offense is like watching...well...you know.
  10. I'm fine with letting Quinn, Peterka, Krebs et al cook in Rochester this season, but holy smokes do we need some offensive playmakers and goal scorers.
  11. Offensively, he can be frustrating, but I think it’ll come along eventually. Defensively, no complaints from me. He’s becoming a guy that is neutralizing the opposition’s best players almost every night.
  12. That was in the back of my mind the whole last 30 seconds, but Tokarski wasn’t havin’ it…
  13. Absolutely phenomenal performance from Tokarski. Wow.
  14. My goodness, what an effort by Tokarski…
  15. I missed the first and about 3/4 of the second period, so there’s that…
  16. Try watching Edmonton right now. You'll want to commit hari kari with a rusty butter knife.
  17. That was a brutal last 10 minutes. Just brutal. Dahlin has to be the most frustrating player in Sabres history. He shows occasional flashes of what he’s capable of, then starts eating retard sandwiches. Guys like Bryson and Butcher getting waxed on the way to the net isn’t enfuriating because they’re marginal players, that’s gonna happen. Dahlin was the #1 overall pick in his draft and Bertuzzi pulled down his pants and painted a picture on his ass before burying it. Yuck.
