Ducks have been playing good hockey lately (won 7/9) though they remain dead last in goals scored in the NHL this season. Sabres played arguably their best game of the season Saturday and have now won 5/6. Can they keep the positive momentum going or is this just another case of them getting the fans' hopes up only to lay an egg in a "should win" game?
He's one of the most talented players in the game, but has been wildly inconsistent throughout his career. There's something lacking mentally that prevents him from keeping it together. At his age, it's hard to expect that to change. VAN never should have paid him what they did. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole at this point. You have no idea what you're getting from a guy being paid like a superstar.
Well this is a pleasant surprise. Put the phone away as the movie started with it 5-2 lead expecting to come out to a 6-5 loss or at best them holding on for a 5-4 squeaker, but looks like they were on the throttle in the 3rd with the lead for a change.
Hope Tuch is okay. Always great to beat the Rags. On to the next one...
Okay, now I'm actually going into the movie. If I come and and they blew a 5-0 lead I'm gonna...
...well, piss & moan on the Internet like always and probably post the laugh/cry gif.
Well, I have to head to a movie with the fam. Hope I don't walk out to reading about a 40-minute Alamo sundae & a 6-5 loss.
Go Sabres, whoop these bums.
I like Kulich and think he has a very bright future, but having him as our 1C at this point in his career is a damning indictment on Kevyn Adams.
Anyway, I'll be able to catch the first period, but then heading to a movie. Go Sabres, beat the Rags.
