Sports radio out here in Vancouver seems to think there will be a market for Skinner if he's cut loose, based on not many scorers available. Good luck with that.
But obviously we're built to start winning when our young core continues to mature. It's not about our record to this point with the trades, it's what will happen in the coming years.
The Canucks love Joshua, but don't want to overpay on a player looking for his first and likely only big contract so will likely move on from the player. If Buffalo wants him, they'll have to overpay as well. Do we really want to?
Just settling in to watch the Memorial Cup Semi-Final between Moose Jaw and Saginaw. Let's go Warriors, and let's go Savoie!
1-0 Saginaw three minutes in
And Moose Jaw ties it up shortly after
Scratch that - goaltender interference.
Entertaining game to watch, Savoie was one of the best players on the ice, as he should be. Moose Jaw already has a must win game coming up, things move fast in this tourney.
Savoie with a good chance from the slot in the opening minutes.
Looking forward to seeing a couple of our highly-touted prospects perform over the next week for the Memorial Cup!
I don't know that that's the case. Maybe you need more Canadian kids used to winter in the lineup. But an NHL player who bases where he wants to play on the weather - I don't want that guy on my team. Let's not forget the best player on the planet plays in Edmonton.
