  1. The CFL has nine teams, like the majority of the time since the 1950s. When you consider the US has ten times the population of Canada, it has more teams per capital than the NFL.
  2. We have a solid shot at 3rd in the division if we can get on a roll. The next couple of games are very winnable
  3. Guess who’s now sitting in the second wildcard spot?
  4. Yeah baby! Solid defensive win
  5. There would be strong opposition to this from across Canada as it would essentially kill the CFL by losing the major media centre in the country. The oldest pro league in the world. There would however, as you said, be no public funds for this.
  6. Bruins lose in OT to the Blues - an opportunity to move up in the standings today And the Isles lose in regulation - let’s go!
  7. Go cheer for another team troll.
  8. Personally I don't think there's anything to it, just reporters making up a story for the sake of it. It's not that different from in the 80's when not-too-sharp hockey fans would say things like "we should trade for Gretzky, he's good" when they had little to offer in return. I doubt this is on KA's radar, although there have been comments from people like Friedman (who didn't really have much to offer, doubt he's heard anything). Here's the likely source of the initial chit chat https://canucksarmy.com/news/should-vancouver-canucks-trade-sabres-defenceman-bowen-byram
  9. Keep in mind he's a BC boy and played for the WHL Vancouver Giants
  10. Living in Vancouver, the local sports media is drooling at the thought of making a lop-sided trade for Byram. Keep calling him the worst player on the team and there will be regrets.
  11. Zucker with the Gordie Howe hattie
