Red Wings, Panthers and Lightning all lose in regulation to help us out tonight.

In previous years a big issue was losing in regulation and not getting the loser point. This year the issue is not winning in OT and settling for the loser point. That alone is a pretty big improvement (putting aside the obvious need to get two points on a regular basis).

And I wasn't talking about any of that. My comment was simply we're over .500. Which we are.

I disagree. If you have more points than games played, you're over .500. Full stop. This seems to be a weird hill to die on after a Sabres win.

I'm wasn't talking about wanting to be in the playoffs. I was talking about our record being over .500. Which you've acknowledged by saying six teams are under .500. This isn't overly complicated.

I said they're over .500. I didn't talk about their record over the season. They are over .500. There's not any other "way to look at it". It's a fact.

No, it's 5 wins, 4 losses and 3 OTLS. 12 games, 13 points. That's over .500. The twisting to not acknowledge this is amusing.

Great, over .500 for the first time. Six games without a regulation loss. One point out of a playoff spot. Maybe some of the Debbie Downers who have already bailed on the team will pipe down for a bit. Of course they won't.

This will be our sixth game in a row without a regulation loss. That's something.
