Seeing assistant coaches Michael Peca and Mike Weber egg on the Amerks fans hanging on the glass when they headed toward the locker room after handshakes drew a big smile on my face.

Amerks down 2-1 after one. Rochester scored first and then got stoned on a breakaway. The tide seemed to turn there. Neither goal given up was particularly good. One was a flutter bug from way out, and the second goal was a defensive letdown.

I don’t watch much Canucks games, but what what leads you to that conclusion? And how is Hughes development environment varied from Rasmus? Just wondering how you can make a definitive conclusion at this point.
