Goalie from the Kings from the 70ās. His fun fact is his jersey number was the first retired number in LA Kings history. -

Yes three goalies incoming in the class of 2023. Induction in November. I didnāt mean to exclude them, but theyāre technically not in yet š -

I agree with you and I also think the HOF is very hard on goaltenders for some reason. There's something like 39 goalies in the HOF, with only five being inducted since 2006: Luongo, Brodeur, Vachon, Hasek, and Belfour. I love me some Millsie, but I think he was a tier below the five I just mentioned. -
How many days until the Sabres season

I miss the show Rescue Me (Denis Leary) who used that same song as their theme song. -
The fried boloney at the arena is totally legit. Iāll walk the lower bowl and settle on that nine times out of ten.

John Roth COO of the Sabres is no longer with the organization
Porous Five Hole replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
This thread is all over the place. Terry didn't cause this to happen and he didn't cause the similar situation to happen with Russ Brandon. Speaking only of the Sabres and only of the business side of the office, Russ became team president in 2015. Once he canoodled his way out of a job, Kim took over as president. Due to illness, Roth was hired. This isnāt some kind of absurd turnover. I cannot speak to the churning of front office positions at one bills drive, but the average job tenure in the US is about four years. Making this about Pegula isnāt making sense to me. -

Thank you for explaining how loaded this team actually is. Plus all the forwards from last year returned (for now)? Letās goooooo

The problem is cap space. The Bills only have 2.5M & Surtainās salary is about 5M.

He became allergic to contact

Anybody know how Toker got hurt? I heard Sabres Live say he was a couple of weeks away. Does that mean the crease belongs to Houser for now?

Annual expectations thread 2023/24: #10 Henri Jokiharju

the music made me lol -
This is a big year for Jokiharju. playing with Power is a privilege and his game needs to take a step forward.

Rasmus close to extension at $10M per

The person who was most āwrongā was Andrew Peters. He was the one gaslighting local fans into believing star players like Dahlin are no longer signing max term deals. I like their podcast for the insight into some of my favorite teams of yesteryear, but the stuff they spit out is un-researched and unconnected garbage. -
Sabres Sign Dahlin to an 8 Year 88 Million Dollar Extension
Porous Five Hole replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I would say none. Dahlin is coming off a bridge deal and signing *three years removed from his entry level contract. Power is still in his ELC. GMKA did say today theyāre open to going long term instead of bridge with Power. -

Perhaps this is obvious, but I wanted to point out that the Sabres are done with cuts. The roster is currently at 25, but the Sabres can get to 23 by placing Jack Quinn and Matt Savoie, who just returned to practice, on injured reserve. Three goalies. Thanks I hate it.

UPL hasnāt even earned an NHL recall. Heās here because of injuries, his 2nd round draft status, and potential (I guess). To me, thereās an equal or greater chance heās an average AHL goalie. He never earned a promotion. He was an injury prone AHL goalie with mediocre numbers. Asset management be damned, itās time to move on.

I still have random reoccurring memories of the past Bills v Jags game in London. Your score will ease that āpain.ā

That would have been perfect. But Hillsborough County did not have any interest in the infrastructure cost or build cost to make it work. The county and city of Tampa basically said, āweāre happy to have you, but we arenāt paying for it.ā So they landed back in St Pete with an eye on developing the site to be more than just the ballpark.

You probably know, but the Rays have a deal with St. Pete to build a new stadium. https://www.fox13news.com/news/rays-announce-plans-for-new-1-2-billion-stadium-for-st-petersburg.amp

Can we talk about this? I am on the record to have stated that Mitts was slated to be 1C two seasons ago and he got hurt. Tage seized that opportunity and the Sabres hit the lotto. Fast forward to now, and Mitts has (to me) only shown he can be a top six forward for 40 games (second half of last year). While Iām willing to see what Mitts shows for the first half of this season, he hasnāt shown enough to consider him and Cozens to be in the same stratosphere. Dylanās age 21-22 season (with rookie line mates) resulted in production that far outweighs anything Mitts has done through his age 25 season. Yes, Mitts had a nice second half last yearā¦but to say the gap and potential is small between these two players doesnāt seem quite right.
