Let’s do a gauntlet of challenges. Start with pull ups, hardest shot, Mario Kart, who has a hotter girlfriend, see if Dylan can spell Mitts last name and see if Mitts can find Whitehorse on a map. The loser gets traded to San Jose.

I think you’re taking my statement in a way that I did not intend it. I felt like the poster I quoted comparing the players was missing some important context. With that said, I agree with your sentiment.

Comparing a 25 year old Mitts to a 22 year old Cozens is kind of bonkers. People couldn’t wait to run Mitts out of town three years ago.

But it doesn’t. It just makes this place no fun to be here 🤷♂️ All too well. I’ve detached some because of the letdowns. I’m much more low key than I used to be. I’m just a fan and I cheer for my favorite team.

I was at the game. Good for Levi to get a game in. He looked rusty in the Amerks win. Gave up three goals on 16 or 17 shots. The second goal went right through him and the third goal he got a piece of on a 2 on 1. I bet he would say he should have had it, even tho that save isn’t expected.

Honestly, you should find a new hobby that doesn’t make you so angry. 👍

Why do you post here? No fan would say this.

Tage Thompson- What the h*** happened?!?!

Between this and the echo chamber of negativity in every thread, it’s taking its toll on this place. On the one hand, the franchise deserves it with a record long drought. But it doesn’t drive good conversation. And no one wants to be around negative nancy all day. -

Amerks 6-1-1 in the last eight (and five wins in regulation. How about some positivity boys??

I was at the game and can confirm Levi started and Cooley backup up all 60 minutes.

I think the Sabres realize Levi is their best chance at a win when UPL isn’t in the crease. For that reason, I think taking Levi on the road trip is the right move. -

Excited to say that I just bought Amerks tix in Levi’s end for tonight! -

This is a one day assignment -
Who do you want? Are they available? What’s the cost?
-
Comrie has already cleared waivers once so I wouldn’t worry about that…

I noticed that too. He used his size to get in the opponent’s way on the half wall puck battles a couple times tonight. He is still allergic to a body check, but he didn’t back off…and in doing so, he eliminated their forward progress which is nice. He’s also finding more open space as a puck carrier in the neutral zone. Hopefully this bodes well.

Cozens, Samuelsson and Skinner are all day to day with UBIs

Woody, I’m concerned. You are constantly harping and seem intentionally negative. You have that right. The org deserves that. But the Sabres have won 5 of 7, and the two losses were against the two hottest teams in the NHL. I am in no way making any excuses for the last 12 years, and I don’t think the Sabres were excellent tonight…but I submit to you to try and enjoy the wins. Go Sabres! Now onto beating the Bolts!!

Full text, auto translated from German: Tyler Ennis and Adler Mannheim have agreed to an early termination of his contract, which runs until April 30, 2024. Yesterday, Tuesday morning, the former NHL player approached the club management with his decision to end his impressive career and hang up his skates for good. The reason for this decision is the serious neck injury that Ennis sustained in the second leg of the CHL round of 16 against the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers on November 21st. “Yesterday morning, Tyler informed me that he was retiring from hockey. At first I was surprised, but after talking to him for about two hours, I fully understand and support his decision. We were impressed with Tyler's dedication and commitment to recovering from his injury. Tyler's experience, work ethic and personality will be missed in our locker room and our organization. We are proud of Tyler for following his heart and making this brave, personal decision. Tyler has built an amazing career through hard work and persistence. These great qualities will serve Tyler well in his next chapter. We have Tyler’s back and will always be there for him,” said head coach and athletic manager Dallas Eakins. Ennis moved to Mannheim at the end of October after keeping fit in Geneva. Before his engagement in Switzerland for the SCL Tigers and SC Bern, the 1.74 meter tall and 75 kilogram attacker played predominantly in the best league in the world. Ennis played a total of 724 NHL games for Buffalo, Minnesota, Toronto, Ottawa and Edmonton, scoring 148 goals and 210 assists. Ennis himself said of his decision: “After working hard to get healthy with our great team, I ultimately decided to quit hockey. I would like to thank Mr. Hopp, my teammates, the coaches, our medical staff and of course our great fans for their support. I will continue to cheer on the Adler Mannheim vigorously in the future.” We deeply regret Ennis' decision, but we fully understand and wish him all the best in his future life.
