The Sabres just hired a head coach who is fifth all time in NHL wins. I don’t care that he also worked here eleven years ago. This is a veteran hire that fans have been craving.

I’m open minded here. The assistant hires will be vitally important. Accountability was never a problem with Ruff. He will make sure this team doesn’t peel off of a hit and his practices will be hard. He has pushed offense with his teams. He’s basically like, “yea the Amerks/Hawks/Blue Cross Arena is less than 1% of my annual revenues and the P&L statement doesn’t make money so peace out.” Kim was the force of, “Rochester is important because it is my home town.” Terry has moved on from that and it sucks for us in ROC. He was the angel investor and it is no more.
