  1. It is a shame that we've reached this point
  2. Stop making sense of the mess, a year or 3 yeah, I could agree, but if it hit double digits... Oy... Respect the opinion, but Fandom is at wits end. No offense.
  3. My apologies to Dahlin, he does have a heart, didn't mean to include him
  4. As someone who as a towheaded 6 year child went to games in the '70 season, the Sabres first, this is deplorable. Not one player seems to care, I get running out the string, but this has been going for 14 years. Ruff is cooked, he'll never get another job at his age, the players know this. Adams is a total tool, he sees blue Sun and yellow skies and believes no one knows he is not all the great Oz, and the core just regurgitates trope lines about hockey. This team is the tin man without a heart, but doesn't seek a heart. A scarecrow who doesn't want a brain and a lion who doesn't seek courage, they see the flying monkeys and cower. Trade them all, and just start over. This team needs a Dorothy, the only one with balls. I for one embrace a tornado to shake things up, hell put the corpse of Margaret Hamilton in charge, it may at least scare opponents, she can fly in on a palm tree broom! Rant done, feel free to comment and flame me!
  5. Yeah I commented earlier about the lifeless Pens play by play (terrible) But Phil Borque in a soft monotone, "Bisquit in the Basket" was just laughable. We were spoiled by Jeanarett (? Spelling) 🤪
  6. No offense to the Pens broadcast crew, but I witnessed more life from a corpse at a wake than that crew. 🙂
  7. Last of the stand up goalie before butterfly hit the 80's
  8. He was an everyman, athlete, author politician and a Cornell grad who saw, played, witnessed life.
  9. Shh.. we don't want to disrupt Adams me time after another in his mind successful season of the process
  10. And bye the bye, Beane is out there, promoting the Bills everyday, Adams is a deer looking like he may be in danger, avoid roads at all costs. Sometimes I wonder if at age 13 his balls never dropped..
  11. It will take money, a whole of lotta of money, but the challenge is there. Zito is Theo, he really has a pipeline with Jaarmo here. For all his brilliance, not denying he is way more smarter than the collective of us putzs who think we got this, if Florida hires a boss for him to report to, that is a slam, maybe he's okay with that, but he is wired differently, in a good way. Granted pipe dream but what the heck, the voice in Sabreland has spent 2 months in Chautauga Lake did 2 days on July 1st and 2nd... Crickets...
  12. Great Question and it comes from a position of power, Zito yeah I think he would seems wired that way. Know it a pipe dream but have 15+ first rounders brought us?
  13. It really comes down to challenge, Zito at is height now as a GM is at the zenith, he deserves all accolades, but if a challenge he may seek, the Sabres are there. The flood of hockey guys he could access in this market closest to their upbringing would be an interesting scenario. He'd be no Ted Black or Larry Quinn, he'd be an Imlach. With keys...
  14. No offense to others but front office is just as important as the product... The history of Sabres is taking that shot, be it Imlach, Bowman or Muckler, granted no Cups, but it was a shot
  15. But he may stand in the way of his precious picks
