Jakob Chychrun scratched for trade related reasons
Mr. Allen replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
How is this about Chychrun? -
Is Thrun worth at least a 2nd? Cause don’t we at least get that if Johnson doesn’t sign? And then if Thrun didn’t sign with us we lost out on that 2nd round compensation.

“If Kane decides he wants to move on from Chicago, he is willing to accept a trade to either the New York Rangers or Toronto Maple Leafs, according to TSN's Carlo Colaiacovo.” F that dude.
-
I was screaming my head off when we drafted Rosen over Wallstedt. I thought the whole reason we traded for that pick was to take him.
-
He’s not coming straight to Buffalo. (barring injuries)

Jakob Chychrun scratched for trade related reasons

That’s how I feel. All about value. If we get him and we give too way too much then I’ll be unhappy about the trade. But if we can swing him without giving up too much then I’ll be ok with it. He’s young, good contract, fits with what Adams is trying to do. -
Anyone have the official deal?

You’re so quick with this stuff.

That is “team friendly” for sure. Well done Adams. -
Cozens Contract Extension Announced, 7 years 7.1 Million AAV

Yesssss -
You don’t think so? Makar, Miro and Fox are all under 10, aren’t they? And I think those are recent signings
-
By having the type of season Quinn and Peterka had in the AHL.
-
We haven’t been to the playoffs on how long? How valuable would playoff experience be for these kids? I’d be ok with giving up picks just for that alone.
-
Exactly. If we trade for him then we have him next year as well. If contract extension talks don’t go well then trade him, recoup the assets and maximize his value by retaining half his salary. And we can afford him because we’re not going to be hurting for cap space next year so his 10 million won’t affect us too much.
-
I think we could basically “rent” him for a year. Give up draft picks to acquire him, let him help us in the playoffs, and then recoup those assets by trading him at the deadline next year. We even have the financial flexibility to take on a lot of his contract to maximize the assets we get next year.

Welcome back!

I think that was cheaper than I thought it would be. Maybe Meier price goes down

Welcome back!

Anyone in the system that fits that style?

Eichel thrown under the bus by Vegas HC Bruce Cassidy
Mr. Allen replied to matter2003's topic in The Aud Club
Better player. Eichel. Better asset? Eichel Better player for the Buffalo Sabres organization? Tuch -
My problem with trading our 1st is that Adams and his team have been drafting really well lately. I know prospects are hit or miss, but Adams seems to be hitting recently.
-
I’m curious as to what Olofsson’s value is around the league. There’s gotta be teams that view his goal scoring ability pretty high. I know he doesn’t have Meier value, but he’s also just not a throw in.
-
Well I mentioned Vegas with those two but only because I overheard inside information about a week before the trade. But that wasn’t an actual report.

Didn’t Dahlin thrive one year after going to the All Star game?
