This…. This sissy, is the only child with the nice toys, so ya let him play because he has the nets….. no hunger! …. How can this not be obvious! The kids from the factory side o town slap him shitless … We have had too many playing like sweat is frightening for years …. Get Power and anybody else who is afraid of germs the hell outta here! … I will pay the balance of his contract. ….

UPL has shown what he is. Trade him and go with Lyon/Ellis. I just don’t have any confidence that UPL can be the consistent, stable player that they have been waiting for him to become.

….. ooooomannnnnn……………… was pretty bad

Ruff has been doing that since he got here.. Change in the team character and performance happen because of pier pressure, challenge and wanting to be part of it because of your ego and love of the game. And of course, seeing results…. yeah, I’m glad Lindy is back even if only for that reason.

Yeah… Hey man. I’m sure you’re a fine person but it’s obvious you just wanna argue. Might be a good idea to get outside for some fresh air and exercise.

I’m not saying that opponents are afraid of Geertsen but I do feel that he contributes to the collective psyche of a team that has needed some balls for a long time. Guys like him are important to have in your room. Helps other guys play tougher. Sports psyc 101. Call it “nonsense” if you wanna but it’s not.

For several seasons, we have watched the Sabres be intimidated, pushed around and abused. It’s been pretty hard to watch at times. Any component they can add to prevent this and help change the “soft” persona, has to be added regardless of skill level. If Geertsen plays only four minutes and it toughens up the entire teams mindset, do it!

I still say they need to trade Power. Hate to be negative after a win but passion can’t be done without! I’m sure Owen is a nice boy and a very skilled athlete but look at the reaction after his goal. His teammates congratulate him but barely. This is because he plays with zero intensity! Trade his ass for a top 6 forward who loves the game too much not to have a bit of a snarl. We finally have a team that shows (Benson, Doan, Tucker among others) fire! … Trade him. He doesn’t belong. … -
I remember when TP bought the Sabres. At that time, it was a concern that Buffalo could loose the franchise. .. So there’s that. I can’t help but wonder if he is holding on in hopes of finding a buyer who will keep the team in Buffalo. I don’t pretend to watch this stuff as closely as many of you but can’t help but wonder. Is TP doing us a favor in this regard? How else can this stagnation be explained? He doesn’t need this. … I might be completely missing on this line of thinking. Hell, I’ve been wrong before and hope I am now but …

Tank had as much to do with the downward spiral as did Lucic owning their lunch money. -

I’m sure many GM’s would have done it the same way but yeah, it’s weird that they release that video. Is KA that desperate to try and keep the fan base off his ass? … probably… Regardless, pathetic mess of an organization. -

I feel bad for Norris. He was so enthused to have had a full offseason to workout rather than rehab. Season feels like another train wreck already.. Unless a miracle trade happens, we may be looking at Helenius or Whalberg sooner than would be ideal. But what does this organization have to lose. That could also hold true for Levi depending on future circumstances. -
Ya know, it took Dahlin a few years before he decided to stand up for himself but he was also adjusting to living in a new culture and overall environment. I sincerely hope that Power takes that step. I almost said that his career depends on it but he’s already wealthy so I would just say his success as a player/good Dman depends on it. He seems like a bright enough kid so there’s that. Hopefully it comes together for him soon.

In spite of his obvious talent, he simply hasn’t played with any desire. That’s why I would move on from him. He’s had time and has shown exactly what he is. Get rid of his contract and auntie Em style even if ya gotta accept a sub par deal. He’ll continue to get eaten alive for years by any player who feels like taking his lunch money and his submissive style will affect the entire team…. #1 player in his draft. Pathetic
