I'd hate for them to mess with what they're building. Actually, I just don't care, but it would get me to watch a game.

Sabres are back to the occasional google "nhl scores" if I remember the games happening. Then a quick check of goal scorers, shots and goalies. This has nothing to do with the Bills game. That's all they get once again. Just like the sabres, it was easy to fall back into losing habits.

Moving away from the "we want players who want to be here" mantra has been like a punch in the face. No one wants to come here, money may change someone's mind, but with other teams throwing money around, It'll be an uphill battle. I also think the Eichel surgery fiasco was a bigger deal to other players than Kevin ever imagined. It has made a tough sell even harder.

Probably an overpay by giving up a 2nd, but considering they had 2 and are loaded with prospects, it's really not a big deal. 2nd rounders have about a 25% chance of making the NHL, they got an NHL player out of one of them.

If he's not a fit with Ruff and the Sabres, I can't see why he would be a fit with Berube in Toronto. But he will end up somewhere, so I guess it's a possibility

Congrats to Sam, 50 goals is still a major achievement in the NHL. The 50 goals may be a one time thing, but he has also but up 232 points in 231 games for the Panthers.

No Sabres and walked into the other room to keep an eye on the Bills, then watched 2nd half of the 4th quarter. No commercials was nice.
