  1. This year’s poor outcome is on Lindy. There is no way around it. It was not an unrealistic expectation that this team make the playoffs this year. Lindy should have been able to reach such a low threshold even with the all soft ice cream team.
  2. I was just taking a shot at the Sabres. That said, what the hell do you or I know about his hockey IQ, unless we are his linemate or his coach? I mean really. He’s a kid and he’s in the nhl already. So the talent is there. Was it too much to ask him to be a top line center, on that we could agree. Chances are his game improve with time on a winning team, run by a viable hockey organization. Bet on it. There is ample evidence of this theory skating around the league, who once wore the blue and gold. Kevyin Adams just ruined another player that’s all. He’s the Alfred E. Neumann of NHL GM’s.
  3. He will be “all nhl “ in no time. After a while a guy will do anything to get out of this groundhog day movie that masquerades as an nhl franchise.
  4. Having to face the cameras while knowing in his heart, his vision is a failure, his theories bankrupt; he can only whisper as he walks by the graveyard.
  5. One would think Samulsson would at least fake being healthy, just so we could trade him to a better team. Not only is he worth a bag of pucks, he’s just as smart as said pucks.
  6. You are just making all of this up right? Kevyiln didn’t call you up and spill his guts about his pending incompetence in 2025-2026?
  7. Power would bring back more in a trade with his 5 on 5 scoring touch and big potential. On a good team he would be allowed to develop. His physical game will come but it’s going to take a few years. We in Buffalo have no patience for that from a guy who already got the bag. KA should have signed him to a bridge deal; even Dahlin was given one of those. If they could could convince Byram to stay, Mule is the one who should be moved. Bad contract. He is finally healthy. Out with you.
  8. The fault dear Claudius, lies not in ourselves but in the Sabres….. losing is not a good show, it’s not a worthwhile show. It steals from our soul the essence of being.
  9. Seeing that video on the Avs just made me mad. Again. The sabres are run by incompetents whose financial hands are tied. Pegula has betrayed the city of Buffalo, the fans and dishonors the tradition and history of the sabres. Sell the team Terry. We get it, football makes you rich and hockey costs you money. Move on money bags.
  10. There was nothing interesting about Buffalo’s hockey team until the gm started talking about palm trees and the invisible owner gave a pep talk to the team before a 6-1 a## kicking by the other worst team in the league. The incomprehensible team management has trumped the team as news. It’s the ultimate inside-out-ski, designed to take the pressure of the players. Wow, Kevyn and Terry —-it sounds like somebody is practicing high leverage sports psychology.
  11. It’s a f..king shame that the vigor and vibrance of those times has been flushed like butts down the john at the aud. We have a still rudderless ship thanks to the poor leadership of the gm over the last three years. Tough Veteran help at or before the deadline two years ago would have been enough to get into the playoffs. Continuing that trend last year would have likely prevented regression. The sabres do not value toughness in players enough. It’s as if they are building an amateur hockey team. This has been the case throughout the 14 years. Here we are again at rock bottom.
  12. The Sabres owe it to Lindy to give him at least the entire season to implement his methods. He has a two year deal. He stays. Unless they end the season dramatically worse than last year Pegs’ spider stays too. If Lindy gets them to the playoffs he gets more powerful, especially if he’s talking to Pegs too…
  13. I do not believe he is fully healed even from his earlier injury. This has caused him to be tentative, leading to poor outcomes and a view from the box. There may be something to the argument that he is adjusting to Ruff’s coaching rigors. To me, any athlete who suffers two serious injuries in two consecutive years, cannot possibly be the same physically in three.
