If Robertson is available I’m trading anyone not named Dahlin, Thompson or Power. I’d even trade Kulich who I am super high on. And with the cap going up I think they could afford Tuch as well.

I’m sorry but trading Krebs and Östlund isn’t exactly blowing up the young core of this team. This team hasn’t made the Playoffs in 14 years. I want them in this year. Neigbors-Norris-Thompson Rust-Kulich-Tuch Benson-McLeod-Quinn Zucker-Rakell-Greenway Dahlin-Acquired D Man Power-Kesserling Timmins-Samuelsson That lineup feels like a Playoff lineup to me. Krebs isn’t a major piece to a Cup contender 3-5 years from now and with Helenius looking good I can part with Östlund.

I just want this over with. Trade him to St. Louis for: One of Holloway or Neighbors One of Broberg, Fowler or Tucker A 2nd round pick Then flip the 2nd, Krebs and Östlund to Pittsburgh for Rust and Rakell

As I said in another thread I would do Andersson, if you can get him to waive, and a 2nd for Byram with the condition that the pick becomes a 3rd if Andersson re-signs. Adams should be GMing like he won’t be here next year. Andersson gives you an instant top of the league pairing with Dahlin and if they make the Playoffs maybe you get him extended. It’s worth the risk in my opinion.

If we had a GM with any balls: Trade your 2026 1st unprotected, Krebs and Rosen to Dallas for Robertson and extend him (If I have to throw in another prospect I don’t care) Trade Byram to Calgary for Andersson and a 2nd. If Anderson resigns it goes to a 3rd. I don’t care if he doesn’t. You’re on a 1 year contract. If the team gets to the Playoffs you’re extended and if it is struggling your gone and don’t worry about it. I’d be much more comfortable with Greenway in a Bottom 6 role. I think you have 3 of your Top 6 on the team next year here currently: Thompson, Tuch and one of Peterka/Quinn. Possibly Kulich if he takes the next step. I have no issues with a botttom 6 of Greenway/Zucker/McLeod/Kozak to start with. Norris down here or Kulich is a plus too.

If it is Samuelsson the board will declare it the greatest trade ever.

If you re-sign Greenway and Zucker, you have two wings on your Bottom 3 filled out while you figure out what to do with your Top 6.
