That if we are not going to make the playoffs (Highly likely) that we fall enough to at least have a shot at top pick. Strong draft get a good pick. If we are not going to make the playoffs, might as well pick high! All i am saying.... LOL

For the single game sample size, he is what we need. Looked comfortable and was hard to play against. All that with no practices and not much knowledge of our defensive plan (Do we even have one?) We need one more of him please!

Not really expecting much if anything by us. I will say the unpopular thing.... if we lose the next few while Tuch and Dahlin are out, and we start slipping and sliding out of the race, then i want to drop low enough to have a shot at lottery for the #1. 7-10 is easily achievable with our schedule and the team as is. So, thoughts on the 1/2 of the game that managed to stomach through: - Refs are pieces of *****. The game was close until they had to start sticking their noses in. That UPL call was utter B/S. That just happened to open the floodgates. - Stillman: Not a bad first game. Liked what i saw with the small sample size. - Missing 2 of our top 3 players is this teams death rattle for the playoffs. There is just not enough talent left to overcome our rough schedule. - If we are going to miss the playoffs, we need to fall far enough to be in on the #1 pick. (Not that i do not think that is going to happen anyways!) - Plan or no plan, This is on KA. We were that close and he had the opportunity, and unless he takes a swing today, he blew it. You cannot win a cup unless you make the playoffs. We are there right now, but help is needed!!! - Krebs: Love his game!!! Now one of my favorite players! Love that he plays hard against anyone!! Not afraid to hit and be a pest. This team needs another just like him. Not a bad first 1/2 of the game and then until the last 5 when this team threw up all over themselves. We are not even in the same universe as the top teams. We were shown our place!

I have always hated the college draft rules. Especially now with the Entitled generation. Ok, so i am older and believe that you should play with whomever drafted you, but there are other entitled folks too throughout the NHL times that would not play with whomever drafted them. Either way, this rule should be changed.

Espn+ is a lot cheaper as i get it in a bundle with Disney+ and Hulu. Better then paying $150 + for CI (Which i used to do)

Yes, and no.... We have Dahlin, Power, and Muel which are a great top 3, but we do not have that lock down physical defensive defenseman that will protect the front of the net. If we were not scoring 6 a game we would not be close to a playoff spot. Our defense is defensively terrible!

Not just defense..... most of the teams added sandpaper to their rosters. This is not good for the Sabres as they seriously lack there. You really do not want your top players in the scrums. Losing Dahlin, Cozens etc to a stupid fight or hit. I get this is not the 70's but teams a re still looking for that grit we really do not have. Ok, Stillman supposedly has, but how much ice time is he really going to get?
