Ok.... was going to post last night but decided to wait until my anger was diminished. Some thoughts and observations from the game: - Our PP is too predictable with zero creativity other then feed Goaloffson and Tage. That needs to change ASAP - As much as folks say it was just a puck luck game that we should have won...... not buying that. When the Habs penned the Sabres in, it was for long periods of time. They created their own puck luck!!! We would would get into their zone and be one and done. Yes, we had a ton of shots, but a lot of them their goalie could easily see and NOBODY parks in front of the net!!! - We looked small and undersized next to Montreal and did not win a lot of the board battles. - We suck at faceoffs when it counts - Same old Sabres: always panics when a heavy forecheck happens. - Team overall looked ungodly slow: Maybe lag from trip, but not the first game i have seen this. I know only a few games in and i will watch win or lose, but some things were changed from last year that were working well. Some smaller tweaks and we should be ok as the season progresses and the kids develop. On a side note, i love what i have seen from Comrie. Once we are back to normal on our Defense he will be awesome!

Just happy to have an early game!!! No west coast trip let down boys!!!!

Not going to get bent out of shape (Great album BTW) over the last game of a 4 game west coast trip. 3-1 is a very good way to finish that road trip! Missing 2 of the top 4 dmen does not help but a bit of adversity will help the team in the end. Pilut will be fine with some more playing time. The Sabres as a whole does not play well against tight checking teams so until they mature and figure it out, expect to see this when we play teams that do. Off to home and hopefully a decent packed house on Thursday!

This times 1000!!! The Sabres cannot afford to be so lax on defense and play 2/3 of the game running around in their own end. We are starting this season with some rough teams, hope they learn and figure it out and fix quickly. Just think of how much better the goaltenders would be facing 10 less high quality shots a game!

Love what he brings to this team. Can we have another please!? Hope he returns soon. Wish they would have brought up Pilut for his absence

Happy to see Hinny back in the lineup..... after watching the first 2 games, his speed is really needed.

After watching this game i came away a bit bummed that our team cannot handle a trap or heavy neutral zone pressure, but happy that they were fighting and trying to go toe to toe with the best team in the NHL. It is only game 2 and i am not going to make any judgements for now. Lots to adjust to and they all seem to be sticking up for each other. I do think they need Hinny's speed. For some reason, the team looks a bit slow.

I have to say, watching the games a few thoughts came to mind: - Same old Sabres - Heavy pressure on them and they move quickly away from their game and start to panic. - After same old Sabres, the team figured it out and came back hard in the 2nd and pretty much dominated that period, That was something we did not see a lot of until recently with Granato. He pays attention to what is going on and makes adjustments in between periods. That is very refreshing! - All the D were pinching when they could. That definitely will wreck havoc as the team gels. - Ottawa is going to be good. Damn they are fast! At times it looked like we were in slow motion compared to them. Not going to pass any judgement on this team, but they have potential to be decent. I can see some lines being juggled after a couple of games, and that includes the PP. It was a fun game to watch and fun to watch the kids flying around the ice!

I thin this is going to be a good signing and a deal for years to come. Muel is a good defensive physical dman which this team needs. 4 Mil for a top 4 dman is not bad at all.

Totally Ok with a rotation and lets see if Comrie does good with a NHL team in front of him.

There is going to be a ton of flame spraying over this loss. But it is just that. We were not beaten, we lost this game and the stats show that. Other then about a dozen bone headed plays and mistakes, we did well with the limited roster we have. Not worried about Miami, they will still lose this division unless we lose another dozen to injury. The Bills goal should be simple. Make the playoffs and be healthy when they do. I do not want to hear about the heat.... they all knew what it was going to be like. They are professional athletes. They should have prepared better for that! Unless we keep piling the injuries, this team will be ok. On a final note, that temper tantrum in the box was embarrassing! Love the passion, but he has to know he is being watched and at least shut the damn camera off!!! They have a week until we play Baltimore. Get your ***** together and kill the crows!!!

This whole situation is bad for everyone all around. Whether it is true or not there is someone that is or will be totally life changing. If they are guilty, then they deserve jail time, plain and simple. I totally get the Bills trying to get as much information as possible before making their decision. In this day and age of false accusations, they were in a no win situation as there was no way they were going to get a definitive that he was guilty or not guilty. That this is majorly being played by the victim's lawyer did not help either. (Who i still believe is a total Douche) Either way, this is beyond football and i hope there is healing and justice if this is true and also if untrue.

YES YES YES!!!! Have always loved the black and red goatheads. I must have 3-4 of them in my closet. Having them in B&G would be sweet. Originals will always be the best but next to them, these are my next fave!

So, i will assume that Johnson is not going to sign. I thought both sides were meeting before he left Buffalo from camp.

I like this..... adding more teams is awesome. Should be a fun tourney to watch!!!

So far, i have zero problem with keeping these two together. They both seem to be on the same page and have something that the last couple of pairings did not have...... a plan to actually make the Sabres better from bottom to top. So far it seems to be working out well for us. Time will tell though, but zero problem with the improved product that we have all seen

Still a lot of bigger names out there. I know we are done, but some serious upgrades on the market that can improve someone.

This guy a a solid defensive dman. I think he is going to partner with most likely power so he can do his thing and still have some defense. He would be a waste as a 7th.we need the defensive game he brings and the size/grit.

Would love to snag Dylan Strome. I think he could be a good add to this particular team.

I think the best younger goalie with the most upside and metrics.... another SMART signing by KA. Not big names but analytic darlings.

Defensive physical defenseman. A RHD to boot. Definitely helps.
