I do not think DG needs to be fired. His PK coach and defensive coach should definitely be let go for someone with a lot of experience. DG is great with the kids and getting the most out of his players. I honestly think the season is getting to the kids and they have run out of gas. Also the pressure of being so close to a playoff spot did them in as well. As they get older, that will help. We do need to swap out a few players with more defensive style specialists and some more sandpaper so we can forecheck hard and more physical. Now in 2 years if we are still in the same spot, they need to clean house.

3 words : Wash, Rinse, Repeat Same old Sabres, just different players.

Was very surprised (Happily) on this one. After the first i did not think they were going to score a goal. After the second i was wondering why it was not 5-2 Sabres as they dominated! The 3rd was good both ends but Tuch was smoking!!! I will also give it to Nylander, that goal was freaking sick!!!! All in all it was fun to watch! Has not been like that in in a couple of weeks it seems.

On that, we know DG can develop, but unsure what happens after that. Can he figure out the way to break a press against his own players, can he fix PK? Can he fix defense? A lot to still learn about him

We do not know what goes on behind closed doors. A good leader does NOT do public floggings. But do agree with the rest

I do not think that will happen. I can see some vet help coming. At first i thought KA was not paying attention, but he is keeping an eye on the team and its needs. Hence our new guys.

There are a few that get upset when the negativity comes up. Hey we are young, there are some serious issues with this team. Many of us are old enough to be tired of the endless rebuild. When that stops and the arena is full again, there will not be that much negativity.

He is one of the biggest stick checkers that refuses to use his body and show any physicality. If his scoring was more consistent, you would not mind. But when he is on a dry spell and sucking in the defensive zone.... he has got to go
