I am hearing that the Sabres are going to assist the fans on getting home before the weather gets horrible and being safe by giving up 4 goals in the first period.

Not really sold that besides scorers, any of them are what i was thinking this team really needs. Need a physical defensive dman that can clear the front of the net, not stick check them to death. Need that tenacious heavier forward that can forecheck, drive the net and not be pushed around. (In other words, that is his NORMAL way of playing) If Thompson is out, Kulich is the one i want to see with the callout. Put him in the top 6 and lets see if he can do it in the NHL.

Any news on the Injury? If he is hurt we need to bring a goal scorer from Amerks....

It is true.... i am not talking about this guy...LOL He was not going to make the team. I am talking about the actual prospects in our system that can be NHL ready. They are mostly all Skilled offensive players with little or no forechecking ability/defensive ability, and grit.

I am not going to say that i know every prospect we have and how good they are. I do know that we have way more prospects with abilities to play in the NHL then we will have room on the roster for. Not to mention that almost all of them seem to be from the same mold. Skilled offensive players with little or no forechecking ability/defensive ability, and grit. Sabres have a long history of getting rid of players that a "Heavier" game. Our current roster although "Slightly" heavier, still needs a bit more. Time for KA to move some capital for a "Heavy" power forward, and a "Heavy" defensive dman. That is 100% what this team needs. If they got both of those, the difference would be huge in the team playing ability.

Started great, went sloppy and pulled through. Another scorer injury. This team needs a serious physical defensive dman and another power forward that's physical. Vancouver will be a loss.

I am with you Doo! I can actually put the reason behind it though. I LOVE LOVE HOCKEY!!!! It is harder watching other teams play even though i love the sport as i see so many teams skating and trying even if they are not great and wonder why our stupid team does not have the kahunas to do the same and get angry/sick to my stomach. 13 years of ineptness in a league where half makes the playoffs almost makes you wonder if the Sabres are doing it on purpose!

If this is the Sabres we are talking about, shouldn't it be small broken plastic knives?

A lot of the team looks horrible. - Defense does too much stick checking and too much watching. One of the better Dmen is watching instead of playing. - Offense is spotty. They are weak minded and play crappy for long periods after giving up a goal. Instead of playing harder, they take foot off of the gas. - Many players look slow and just do not have the same fire of last year. Dahlin, Tage, Tuch, Power, etc. - They do not know what a 60 minute game is. - Poor player management. Benson should not be here. Yes he has a spark and skates like hell, but the team and player are not ready for him to be here. RJ does have the goods and is watching instead of playing. - The front of the opponents net is still too much taboo and few go to the sweet scoring spots. And the list goes on and on. Poor coaching, poor GM, poor management, all equals poor play. Not expecting any changes in the future. I am expecting less and less fans at the arena! We will be back to nobody wants to come to this tire fire.

After 2 more GM's, 3 more 1st picks, and 4 coaches. It's the crap that never ends, it goes on and on my friends......
