  1. We didn’t lose chychrun - based on the return ARI received we apparently didn’t try to trade for Chuchrun. At least we got Adam’s friends kid, who would be good in the EHL maybe even the AHL
  2. Unfortunately for us Pagnotta is a ton more reliable than nhl insider. The latter is the lowest of the hacks
  3. Fantastic - makes 0 sense unless he’s being sent on to another team in a bigger trade. Vancouver fans are actually upset he’s been traded cuz 16 mins less of him per game means less of a chance for 1st overall pick. im going to trust our scouts and KA but from the surface this makes no sense?? Now they’ll probably have to pass Klague back to Rochester through waivers and he’ll be claimed
  4. Hoping he’s AHL eligible cuz I don’t see him helping the Sabres?? He’s not even right handed. Rochester is pretty desperate for D, so hopefully for them and this doesn’t eliminate the possibility of trading for a real dman like Chychrun or Jensen. can anyone confirm if he’s AHL eligible?
  5. ARI is kind of stuck in a hard place now - they've sat Chychrun out for 18 days and he has a limited NTC hitting 7/1. Now, they could trade him at the draft but it would look pretty amateurish sitting him out for 3+ weeks and not trading him by the deadline. Of couse, it is ARI so they probably don't care....
  6. no worries - we don't kill he messenger
  7. Doesn't feel like enough as Comrie and Bryson are basically worthless. Maybe substitute Bryson for another decent propect
  8. Upon further review, the source they're quoting is the biggest joke out there, unfortunately. He's worse than Eklund on hock**Bu*z
  9. fingers crossed - he fits everything current need-wise and timeline wise
  10. Agreed - there's no way in the world Rosen would be considered off limits and Oslund would be considered tradeable.
  11. Yep - he did make one stupid pass today but otherwise was a game changer
  12. I think chychrun is still a possibility: 1. Fills a MAJOR need 2. The Pegula FLA connection 3. We can pay as much as anybody but will we? Send me Chychrun, Bjustad, Crouse and Vejmelka for 2023 1st, Oloffson, Vinny, UPL, Rousek and Bryson
  13. Mitts is not being traded - not the way he’s been playing and the fact we’re down Tuch for a month +
  14. Makar is unfortunately one more head hit away from having a major problem
  15. Ugh he kind of won us the last game in case you have forgotten. Granted, I can’t wait for the Levy era in a couple of years
  16. 1. Maybe a game at the end of the season if we’re out of the playoff hunt. Full time - 2025/2026 season 2. not really, 5%? He has a clear path to a #1 NHL goalie role on an up and coming young team. To sign elsewhere he’d have to play another year at NE and sign elsewhere in August 24. That’s throwing away a lot of time and $$ 3. 100% - he’ll likely be the #1 goalie there for 2 years, like Ryan Miller did
  17. I don’t know if the coaches sucked or the players - probably both. But I do know they coach scared/conservative. That’s why they destroy backup and rookie QBs and get destroyed by good Qbs ill never forgive them for 13 seconds - that was all coaches shrinking under pressure. Pooch the fkn kick to the 5 yd line = game over. Yeah I’m still bitter. we needed Oliver to be Chris Jones last week instead he was as affective as Daquan Jones.
  18. Sabres are playing with supreme confidence right now / they can beat anyone. They can also lose to anyone - it’s the nature of the NHL
  19. Makes sense, but then who'd you give up for Meier and what did you get for Oloffson?
  20. I like Peterka's game better going forward
  21. SJ says no. I think it would take a 1st, Quinn (I'm not giving up Peterka) and a lesser prospect (I'm not giving up Kulich)
  22. Pretty sure Anderson retires after this season, so next year will be UPL #1, Comrie backup, Levy #1 in rochester, Portillo signed somwhere else, hoping he finds the same fate as Quick.
  23. There a decent team, playing on 2 days rest, with two of their top players back in the lineup. It was a really nice win for the Sabres on a B2B, a winthey mught not have held on to in past years
  24. Hecht is a really good comparison. He's a little smaller but faster. Maybe not as good defensively but as good offensively. He does the dirty things that Middelstadt isn't good at and really helps that line. Fantastic free pick up.
