Don't mind this. Don't mind this at all.

Reading back on old tweets, his injury was reported as lower body. Seems like a good sign that his isn't the case here.
-
I just hope for his sake that this isn't another concussion.

How long has it been that this team makes every backup goalie look like Carey Price? -

I thought the EBUG wasn't a thing this year due to Covid protocols. The taxi squad goalie is intended to be that emergency backup. -

Weak call. That's a "don't let the game get out of hand" penalty. -

Why do we assume it's coaching? He's the only one on defense that's noticeably playing timid right now. -

Risto is fun. He's frustrating as hell to watch sometimes, sure, but he certainly makes these games entertaining. -

https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/31-thoughts-avalanche-traded-ian-cole-minnesota/sn-amp/?__twitter_impression=true The intro to Friedman's latest 31 Thoughts is about Nelson. Cool read, good on him for realizing his interests lie elsewhere and going for it. -

I'm a little surprised they're picking today for a rest day given that we have two days off before our next game. But I do think it's a good idea to give him a day here and there. -
I don't want to speak too soon here, but hopefully this means whatever happened was more of a scare than a serious situation for Linus.
-
It really not that big of a deal, but keep in mind that this is a relatively common strategy for these rumors sites. Take a small bit of reputable information, make a logical leap from there, and report that speculation as if they're in the know without actually having additional information.
-
That's the first impression I got as well. Obviously speculation, but it makes sense with all the given quotes. Linus seems like such a kind and genuine guy, I hope all is well for him and his family.

Carter "Ryan Miller" Hutton. -
I haven't seen this reported elsewhere, and I don't have a lot of trust in hockeyfeed.com
-
I believe the average time before return with a concussion is somewhere in the 16 day range in the NFL. So this obviously puts his status for next week in doubt. Not what you want to see at all, but wow that would be a game changer.
-
People forget that a coach can be demanding and hold people accountable while still being empathetic and someone players trust. It isn't one or the other.
-
That's probably what they'd be looking for. But I don't see a good way to balance the cap hit for Cozens without throwing in an anchor contract they they wouldn't have any interest in. That's why my mind goes to Reinhart and a solid draft pick/prospect for either one,
-
Like he should. I'd imagine that a trade for either one of these guys would involve Reinhart and something extra. Only way I think the cap space works out.

Very much looked like a preseason game out there. -
I forget where I read that, but I believe the quote was that Botterill doesn't really believe in major long-term deals. I forget if Skinner was specifically mentioned, but it can be assumed that either ownership trumped him on that contract or that Skinner's agent really pulled Botterill outside of his principles.
