OK everyone has homework. Start looking up billionaires in the WNY, southern Ontario region.😃 I have heard about the Wegmans family and that guy mentioned Chris Sacca. -

It will be very interesting to see who the approved investor will be as there is always potential for a larger sale down the road. -

Yeah if 25% of the Bills are going up no way he isn’t fielding offers on atleast a portion of the Sabres. I think at some point someone is going to have to make a statement or these rumors will run wild. -

What is Pegula’s net worth? Wasn’t it close to $7 billion. Wonder why this is being done and will it mean something similar for the Sabres -
Would I trade Power? I wouldn’t be looking to trade him but if it is a franchise changing type trade sure I would move him.

I think there will be a couple surprising/shocking trades this summer. I think Adams wants to shake this roster up and the new coach will have a say.
-
I believe in both of them. UPL finally looks like the Sudbury Wolves star. If Levi takes the Amerks on a long playoff run then I fully expect him to be the 1B next season.

Who will be the next Head Coach of the Buffalo Sabres?

Amazing that almost half the teams in the league have switched coaches in the last year -

I can’t see Gallant and Terry getting along. Adam’s would have to do a lot of buffering. Gallant or Berube if it’s not Ruff. -

Forgot St. Louis is looking for a coach too. Buffalo, Ottawa, NJ, St Louis currently looking for a head coach. Probably more teams after playoffs. -

Adams ass is on the line here. He even said this is the last coach he will hire if it doesn’t work out. Now is not the time for another first time coach who you hope works out. Now is the time for a seasoned coach with a track record of success. Someone who can quickly put an effective system in place and has the respect of the players from the get go and can hold them accountable. Peca is a promising assistant coach. He should have been moved up to the Sabres bench as an assistant this year. If he wants to be a head coach he will probably have to go down to the American League and run a bench for a couple years. If Vegas lose in the first round I wouldn’t put it past that organization to can Cassidy. They don’t mess around. -
I think the two big realistic targets would be Chandler Stephenson up front and Dylan Demelo on the back end. Stephenson can play that 2/3 line centre role. Demelo is +46 this season can play top 4 minutes is physical and defensively sound. Would be a great leader and partner for Power. Matt Roy and Haakanpaa are other RHDs I would look at. Would help defensively and physically and would free up Joker and Clifton as trade bait. I think they need some energy and physicality on the 4th line. Guys like Carrier, Joshua, Liam O’Brien, AJ Greer can change the identity of the lineup. They need a 4th line centre that is very good at the dot. Not sure who but that needs to be addressed.

Right now the Sabres, Devils and Sens are looking for a head coach. That number will increase. If the Leafs lose first round there is no way Keefe can be kept on. A couple more teams will probably look for a shakeup if their are surprising first round losses. -
I have no idea who this guy is or who his multiple sources are. You would think there would be way more smoke around this if it were potentially happening though. Hiring that guy recently to oversee both the Bills and Sabres on the business side flies in the face of this though.

Man they all threw Donny under the bus. Im sure whoever the coach is they will run hard, organized practices. -
Has anyone seen this? Is there been any pushback on it? I know they are getting out of running the Blue Cross Arena. There was a rumor a month a go that Terry was considering selling the Sabres to the Wegman’s family. Weird times.

I am REALLY interested to see what happens when the new coach is announced. Is it someone Adams expects to just coach the lineup he gives him or does the coach help shape the lineup and we see trades and signings that reflect the coach’s vision.

The fans in Pittsburgh are done with Sullivan. In the past 6 years they have lost in the first round 3 times, lost in the qualifying round once and missed the playoffs the past two seasons. And this year their PP with the likes of Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel, Karlsson, Letang was as bad as Buffalo’s. -

Adams ass is on the line. If Brindamour is not leaving then I think he turns to Lindy. He knows him, trusts him, can work with him. The other wildcard is Quenneville but that is a long shot like Brindamour.
