  1. Friedman: Blue Jackets' GM search “Kings senior adviser to the GM Marc Bergevin and Kraken assistant GM Jason Botterill are believed to have talked to Columbus, but it doesn't appear that a decision is imminent.” Oh please hire Botts.
  2. Yeah a lot of people are. For all his accomplishments the past couple years he is an afterthought in a lot of conversations about Sabres prospects.
  3. Drummondville win 4-3 to sweep the QMJHL finals. Komarov now a 2 time Q champion. Now looking to be 2 time Memorial Cup champ. And Komarov wins Playoff MVP. STOP SLEEPING ON THIS KID
  4. It will be Prospal. He is already employed by the organization.
  5. What do people expect him to say? If a company hires you or promotes you are the first words out of your mouth to bury the company?
  6. https://www.prohockeyrumors.com/2024/05/sabres-turning-away-trade-interest-in-mattias-samuelsson.html
  7. I will give credit to a guy named Jim Bob on hfboards who created this. Who do you sign or trade for this summer:
  8. Real nice assist for Komarov. Drummondville up 6-1 and will be up 3-0 in the series.
  9. Drummondville up 4-0 in the first. Komarov with a goal. They are up 2-0 in the series.
  10. Yeah it’s a “tell me you haven’t researched the Sabres organization without telling me you haven’t” type write up. Dahlin, Power, Byram, Muel, R Johnson, Novikov. LHD isn’t a huge need. With Yakemchuk I wonder if he’s an all tools, no IQ type dman. Big, strong, can score. A guy like Parekth is all O where as Yakemchuk can add the additional physical aspect. I do like Dickinson a lot though. And no one develops players better than London so if he is there at 11 I would have a hard time passing on him. As Liger mentioned it would mean moving Muel and maybe a Byram. If they keep the pick I think 11 is a good spot. After Celebrini no one seems to have a clue how the draft will unfold and I think 2 to 3 good choices will be there at 11.
  11. https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/2024-nhl-mock-draft-post-draft-lottery-top-24 London Dman Sam Dickinson. I really like him but man that would be LHD overload.
  12. I agree with you on this. I wonder how hard it is for them to get qualified people to be interested. I have heard that when Pegula canned all those front office people during the pandemic that it really rubbed a lot of people around the league the wrong way. Also 13 years of no playoffs and a GM with no previous qualifications doesn’t seem too enticing for a lot of qualified people. I have a feeling a lot of this is financial too. The only financial move is adding Ruff. Wouldn’t be surprised if Prospal takes over as coach in Rochester.
  13. Ummmmmmmmmmmmm😳
  14. I have no problem with Appert joining the staff. I really would have liked to see another qualified vet person added in addition. Someone like a James Patrick.
  15. The offseason hasn’t officially started for everyone yet. Let’s atleast get there before we start the “it’s obvious he’s not bringing in any good talent” narratives.
  16. This is you just making stuff up.
  17. I don’t think so. They don’t really need 4 guys on the bench. Appert is coaching the forwards and PP, Ruff as HC and Wilford as D coach/PK.
  18. Well atleast I just read that Appert is running the PP and Ellis has been kicked off the bench to the press box.
  19. “I’ll take Completely Underwhelmed by this Announcement for $400 Alex”
  20. Zadorov having a great playoffs for Vancouver and is a UFA. I think he is going to get paid this summer.
  21. Nope they never have.
  22. 1-0 Moose Jaw. Nice give and go setup by Savoie
  23. There are similarities between Briere and Savoie but Savoie doesn’t play as close to the net as Briere did. Briere would get a ton of goals from being right tight to the net and flipping pucks up or banging it in. Savoie’s game isn’t the same in that regard.
  24. Helenius 3rd is a new one.
