There is quite a discrepancy in the quality of player offer sheeted between the 2 teams. If Carolina want to pay KK $6 million a year then that is their funeral. I mean they let Nedalkovic go because they won’t pay him, let Hamilton go and then want to pay KK $6 million a year strictly to stick it to Montreal. Very poor management but I will bet this came straight from Dundon and no one is talking him out of it.

He doesn't name specific names but I think we can all figure out some of the culprits.

Your welcome😀 My comment wasn't directed at you, just a generalization of posters across different boards who have been pushing this narrative that Johnson and Power will both somehow leave and Buffalo will be helpless.
-
I love at the beginning when Forton starts talking that Adams is looking off in one direction and Karmanos is looking off in another. Just a funny visual during a meeting.
-
blah blah blah Johnson will walk for free, Power will stay 4 years at Michigan and walk for free. Go get some fresh air for God's Sake.
-
Easy, let him play at Minnesota. If when the season ends he doesn’t seem interested in signing at that point he becomes a big trade chip.

Suck It Feschuk!!!!😀 -
This is a shocker. An arena telling a pro sports team, “No Thanks”. I mean this has to be the end of them in Arizona. Les Nordiques?😁

Super Happy to hear this. This has always been the best development option regardless of draft position. He has a ton of upside but needs to work on/develop things still at a lower level. Play big minutes on a powerhouse. Play for Canada at the WJCs and play Frozen Four this season. Add some man muscle. -

I think that went over your head. When Quebec traded Lindros to Philly they also agreed to trade him to the NYR as well for a massive package that they liked better. The NHL had to step in and sort it all out. They ruled that the Philly deal was first and valid so Quebec had to take the Philly deal.
-
But only after Adams trades him to the Rangers too and the NHL has to step in and figure it all out.😜
-
You are going a little over the top. Bedard doesn’t have McDavid’s size or skating ability. Putting up points in a truncated crazy WHL season doesn’t automatically mean he will be better then McDavid. Let’s see how the next two years go.
-
I really think the Pegulas don’t want to take on more money then they have to. Adams wants mainly futures in any trades but that just isn’t going to be possible without some money coming back. I think it would cut down on the Vegas deal and rule out the Henrique deal. Koskinen for a year could happen as they do need something in net this season.
-
Dorofeyev is an offensive winger with top 6 potential. Korczak is a big RHD that plays a tough, physical game and has some offensive potential. Hague is a LHD which they seem to have in spades at the moment. Any of the 3 would be good gets if paired with Krebs in a package.
-
Poor Evander. His wife doesn’t want him. His teammates don’t want him. The only people that want him are his bookies.
-
How? All Rangers prospects are untouchable. If they are untouchable for Jack there is no way they are touchable for Smith.😜
-
If Edmonton called and offered Koskinen in net plus a sweetener to take him for his final year under contract, what sweetener would you deem acceptable. 2nd round pick? Koskinen would be an upgrade on Dell for a season.
-
Let him go to Michigan. Be a big fish on a powerhouse team, play in the WJCs and hopefully a long run in the Frozen Four. He is 18 and needs to grow his game. Starting in the NHL at 19-20 years of age with that critical extra year of development will be huge for him.
-
Apparently the end of season exit interviews were just the players sh*tting on Kane to Doug Wilson.
-
Some did yes, but a lot were not mad to see him go. If he is motivated he can be a force but he never seems motivated for long stretches.
-
Power should be at Michigan this year. Let him play on a powerhouse, play in the WJCs, play in the Frozen Four. He needs development and Michigan is the best option for next season. Throwing him onto this team that won't be competitive at 18 is a big mistake. Take it slow with him and it will payoff down the road.
-
No it is not. He is a lazy, uninterested player. Boston didn't even make an attempt to bring him back. He is the type of player other team's fans see and think he is big and tough until he is on their team. Ask Boston fans what they think of him.
