  1. LOL I feel bad for you every time you post.
  2. It can both be a bad trade and the Sabres can be happy with how Tage and Ryan Johnson are developing.
  3. WTF are you even talking about?
  4. Then why are you here? Just to troll?
  5. Dahlin is started to get much more physical. He is 21 he is coming along in all aspects of his game including physical play.
  6. Good effort boys. No shame. That is BS that the Dahlin no call takes him out of the play and let the Avs score.
  7. NHL teams still love size. I don’t Slafskovsky goes #1 but I will be suprised if he isn’t top 3 come draft day.
  8. Regardless of how the game ends up it is nice to see the young guys really stepping up their games against top competition. Tage continues to develop. Dahlin has looked great. Cozens and Krebs look good and nice to see Mitts back and creating.
  9. Agree. I think Slafkovsky might be his biggest challenge when it is all did and done.
  10. Shane Wright with 3 more points last night. He is starting to bring it. I think he is 1 OA come draft day.
  11. He is 19, let him play. Michigan wouldn’t let him play last year. His Frozen Four was taken by Covid, his WJC this year was ended after a few games by Covid. If he wants to go let him go.
  12. Awful hockey tonight. Sabres are off, especially Skinner. Can they gut out a win here when no one seems on their game?
  13. What is Adams talking about here with patience? He should be burying him as a bust after a half season of development.😛
  14. I think someone jumps on him as high as number 2. His Olympics are going to catapult him very high on some teams lists.
  15. His whole argument seems to be Cooley plays faster so that justifies it.
  16. I would send Matthias down and showcase Hagg until the deadline. Miller, Hagg, Eakin, Vinnie, Jankowski, Anderson are on the trade deadline depth moves watch. They won’t return a ton but those are the guys other teams will be looking at as playoff depth adds on low salaries especially if Buffalo retains on Miller or Hagg.
  17. Jiricek is a question mark for me until we see what his IQ is. Drafting another Risto early will not move this team forward. Personally I think you can have too many Russians on a team. Not a big fan of drafting Yurov unless he is head and shoulders above the other options at the Sabres pick. You have to hope Polpatov and Kisakov make it after spending high picks on them and Novikov looks like a keeper for the back end. I think I feel underwhelmed because we haven’t seen a lot of these guys for 2 years and it leads to a lot of questions about guys, even in the top 10. Wright hasn’t taken off, guys like Cooley, Savoie, Nazar are small, has Nemec peaked as far as upside already, Kemell has disappeared, Lambert has character questions, Jiricek need to see what his IQ is. Slafkovsky seems like the home run swing pick in the top 10. I’m sure these guys will turn out fine, just seems like an underwhelming group especially compared to the 23 group that looks like it will have a lot of high end depth to it.
  18. Where is Jiricek on the Risto scale meaning where is his hockey IQ?
  19. https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/peters-mid-season-2022-nhl-draft-rankings/ The more rankings I see the less enthused I get for this draft.
  20. Not to nitpick but you mean Braeden Schneider who was taken 19th by the NYR. Sanderson is LHD Sens took right before Drysdale. What are Nemec’s and Jircek’s defensive games like because that is what the Sabres really need on the backend, a RHD that can anchor Dahlin or Power and let them play their game offensively.
  21. Mitts after seeing the lines: “I’m still injured.”😁
  22. Now that Slafkovsky is obviously going 1st OA How is that going to change everything?😛 The Sabres pick this year will really be dictated by their draft position and where the teams picking in front of them see these players. Which is always the case but this year there doesn’t seem to be any real structure of where these kids are ranked and it could be a real free for all as far as where players are picked this season. This year more then any I don’t think the draft sites rankings will match up with the individual team’s internal rankings.
  23. As the kids like to say, Tage is a unicorn. No other team in the league can throw a 6’7 offensive centre over the boards. Man what a load Tage and Tuch would be in a playoff series. He has all the physical tools it is just a matter of him realizing mentally that he can dominate consistently.
