I meant overall this season. Was shocked that the Chiefs hadn’t given up 60 yards running in any game this year. Hats off to them for their great run D. The running game was able to punch 3 TDs in even if they weren’t getting much on the ground yesterday.

I think this is the best backfield they have had in a long time. All 3 guys are talented and productive in their own way.

There might not be a Dman in the league that is as impressive in throwing the long exit stretch pass up ice as Power. He has great mobility and hockey IQ. He will be frustrating in his zone but I think that aspect will come with time.

If Pitt continues to slide I think Pettersen is the exact type of Dman they need to add. I agree with others that they need a F with some muscle that goes to the net regularly. Not sure who that is.

There seems to be signs of life from Cozen and to a lesser degree, Quinn. This team desperately needs them to be what we have seen glimpses of what they can be.

McLeod has been a very good pickup. He looks like a guy who can raise his game to fill in at 1C for short stints when they need it. Leafs got screwed on a no goal call last night but persevered to tie it and win it in OT. Nice to see the Sabres do the same tonight. November always seems to be the month that they collapse. If they can make it through even this year and get healthy let’s see what they can do. Boston and Pitt seem to be falling so there is an opportunity if they can seize it.

Is Kubel injured or just a scratch? I like his game. Muel, Joker and Kubel in the press box. That’s what real teams look like with NHL talent in reserve. A big step up from previous years when they didn’t even ice a team with full NHL talent.

Get a real run going here. Put yourselves back in a spot. Not every game is going to go the way you want. Find a way to win. They are playing a style that will be successful in the regular season and playoffs if they can get there. And give some credit to Vladar. I thought he was tremendous today. Not a ton of shots but most were high danger.
