Another year, another debacle that reveals the culture and character of this team is ***t The “captain” and coach they all fake claimed they were excited about getting aren’t on the same page. They do not care about each other. Their first instincts in a game when everyone knew what happened was to shrug it off as we weren’t sure what happened. Then Muel whines about not doing anything. Lindy said 2 guys were ready to do something during his absolute mess of a post game presser. They revolted when fans chanted to fire Donnie. They pretended to be on the same page as our loser GM after they fired Donnie and brought in Lindy. They give lip service to everything - and that includes how badly they want to be here. I’m thinking it’s just bc they got paid and are coddled. They don’t understand what it means to play here. This is the most unlikeable team in the history of the Buffalo Sabres. I'm just waiting for the league to force Pegula to hire Hockey people to save this franchise. It is lost. No one wants to come here. The Pettersson rumors were absolutely hysterical. Did we feel relevant for a few minutes?

Making that public - and the players robotically repeating it on locker clean out day faking they believed it and were on board - was actually them quitting on their GM. They were essentially told they were lazy losers. Adams lost them forever right there. He's going to be fired in April. We’re just going to have to ride with this miserable season till then.

The Sabres in the 21st century - 2000 season to 2024 season: Playoff appearances: 2001 2006 2007 2010 2011 Advancing beyond the first round in just 2 of them Including this year - we will have missed the playoffs 20/25 seasons this century. We’ve had FIVE playoff “runs” in the last 25 years! FIVE Got out of the first round just twice. Let that all sink in. It’s unconscionable.

Until they make the playoffs or are in the top 8 for months. Not 2 weeks.

This is where I’m at. I've never been in this place with any of my teams ever. I feel completely disconnected, disgusted, angry, embarrassed, and dejected. Nothing they do short of making the playoffs means a f…ing thing to me for these next 40 some games. KA needs to be canned and his replacement has to be chosen by an actual Team President that can get the freaking 90 percent of the league that seems to have “cannot trade me to Hockey Siberia” in their contracts to come here. That or we actually hit in the draft when we pick in the top 3 and it works out. How in the heck has Rasmus Dahlin not been in a playoff game yet??? How elite are you if that hasn’t happened after 7 seasons in the league???

Looking over Colorado’s numbers - Casey has 2 goals; 11 points since October 28. 24 points in 38 games. He is somehow minus 15 on that team. It looks like he’s no longer their 2nd line center. But he had a nice game yesterday. A goal and was a plus 2.

So I’d like to think plans are in process to completely overhaul the front office the GM everything. But we’ll be waiting till April for that to happen. To me the rest of this season is scouting the potential front office execs. Terry isn’t getting younger. His patience I’m sure has run out and he has to swallow his pride and completely turn it over to Hockey men. Leaders of men.

Trade them all for draft picks and prospects. We are going to lose every trade trying to make “hockey trades.” No one is waiving NMCs to come here. Benson is the only one that can stay. And none of this will matter until Terry fires himself and hires a President - and it should be someone he is not comfortable with. That’s the man you want.

Everything is collaborative after many conversations and more conversations in Hockey Hell. Then Pegula gives final say. He thought Ville Leino was awesome. That’s who essentially your Team president is. The guy that gave Ville Leino that contract.

Unfortunately no one gets traded or fired until after New Year's.

No see that’s more proof that I might be right. Everyone saying the same thing per the GMs talking points sounds like a team that was NOT on board with 1. The evaluation of themselves and 2. Firing Donnie

Beginning to develop a theory they were NOT happy with what happened to Meatball and couldn’t give 2 s***s about Ruff and this “accountability” talk from a GM that paid them immediately after 1 good year. They don’t respect the GM. Worse, they no longer respect the organization. I also personally think this team hasn’t been the same since the Levi decision to sign out of college - which clearly came with promises of being on the roster. Accountability folks. We’re a joke. Need an alpha Hockey President. Same GM. And a coach that get out of these guys we’re stuck with for now until new GM figures it out. The longer we wait to do this the worse it is.

Only one player on this team makes players around him better. And he’s 19 years old.

It added Briere and Drury. Darcy had the foresight to see the league was going to crack down on the defensive clutch and grab era and built a team immediately ready to exploit the wide open game that would come post lockout. Darcy was a great GM.

Had opportunity to go to the game tonight. Wasn’t worth the effort. And I ain’t the only one. This franchise is in massive trouble.

These are games that if Tage doesn’t assert himself and take over, we are not a serious team. We lack a number 2 Center AND a number 1. Full circle from 2014.

This team will be in Houston or Oklahoma City soon. Attendance will plummet. The NHL will intervene. Nothing would make Toronto happier.

I love the guy this just makes me sad what’s happened to him. I just think the losing is sucking the life out of them.
